Well, just because they aren't mentioned in the bible doesn't mean they weren't created. God doesn't mention bush-babies, giraffes, tigers, etc, but we still know they exist. Also in Job it talks about this creature that kinda fits the description of the Long-neck dinosaur, but we don't know for sure what creature it is. Then there is the theory that Dinosaurs are the lizards and reptiles we know today because back then there was better protection of the earth and things and people lived a LOT longer than today. Maybe since things had longer to live they grew bigger. But that's just a theory! I hope this helped any!

Are there any references to dinosaurs in the Bible? Some people think Job 41:1, NIV, is talking about dinosaurs. "Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope?” Or Job 40:15, “Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox.“ There are many other verses in the Bible about dragons that are considered references about dinosaurs, as well. Most Bible scholars suggest that the descriptions in Job are of crocodiles or of hippopotamus. Both lived in the Near East in those days. It is tempting to think that dragons are a faded memory of dinosaurs, but we cannot be sure. We can only speculate.
How did dinosaurs become extinct? Some scientists have a hard time explaining the reason they became extinct so suddenly. What happened? The answer can be found in the Bible, in the story of the world-wide flood in Genesis 7:1 – Genesis 8:1, TLB. “Finally the day came when the Lord said to Noah, "Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I consider you alone to be righteous. Bring in the animals - a pair of each, except those kinds I have chosen for eating and for sacrifice: take seven pairs of each of them, and seven pairs of every kind of bird. Thus there will be every kind of life reproducing again after the flood has ended. One week from today I will begin forty days and nights of rain; and all the animals and birds and reptiles I have made will die."
Why did God not take dinosaurs into the ark? In Genesis 6:12 we find the answer. “And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” Satan, the being who rebelled against God, cannot create, but he can change. The entrance of sin into the world allowed Satan to corrupt humans and other living creatures. Now we have leaves changed to thorns, teeth changed to poison fangs, genes changed into viruses and useful bacteria into disease producers. Satan corrupted some of the reptiles God originally created into the bizarre creatures we call dinosaurs. God chose not to save them at the time of the Flood. Perhaps God also saw that feeble post-flood humans would not be able to control such large animals. Thus, we suggest that God preserved the air-breathing, land animals, except the very large animals and the corrupted ones.

They existed just like any other animal that is now extinct. Before the flood, the earth was somewhat tropical. There was one season, and a much, much higher concentration of oxygen in the air. Reptiles never stop growing. Even nowdays they never stop growing. So imagine a lizard with the ability to live 500 years in an environment that is suited perfectly for it to become huge. You have a dinosaur. There was recently a fossil found of a T-rex that actually had soft tissue on it. There is no way that fossil could last millions of years like science wants you to believe. You won't read about that in your textbooks.

They probably existed during the same as Adam and Eve, but most likely drowned during the Flood. The dinosaurs were too big to fit inside the ark and did not fit into God's plan for the animals to re-populate the earth. This would explain the various fossils found around the globe.

The people who wrote the Bible had no paleontologists, anthropologists, or archaeologists digging into the past. They probably occassionally found some ancient bones at one time or another and imagined monsters. The dinosaurs are not mentioned because the writers had no knowledge of them any more than they had knowledge of the existence of China, Antarcica, the Americas, or much of anything else really. They were members of a nomadic desert people, and their writings reflected that.

They were too big for Noah's Ark. To besides, your bible says the earth is only 6000 years old, Dinosaurs were millions of years ago. Go figure.

Sure they are - all the animals and creeping things that got created Before us Humans. A day = 24 hours is a man-made measurement. I suspect a day is something much longer to God, it doesn't really worry me much.
