Let's be honest. 'Christian' societies are not really Christian. The people living in these societies have greater freedom to do as they will, tend to be wealthier as a result of having reasonably corruption free government working for them, and no slavish devotion to some Medieval religion. That is why they hate us. Because we are doing better than them. One word - Jealousy.

The 'holy war' is originated back in the time of early Christians, where the Crusades started their holy war against the Muslims for the reigning of Jerusalem. Therefore back to the comtemporary times, the extermination of both Israel and Palestine also started the fight for nation liberations for religious purposes. Bottom lines, the war has started long right after Christ was crucified and the Roman empire took over the reign of the middle east. Therefore the emergence of Islam in the European region started the religious conflict and thus has long stretched till today. Basically it's down to the Crusades again to gain power over the Holy Land, which is devided into 2 nations now. Palestine and Israel have a long way war again.

Athena please go back in your little room and take your medication like a good girl. Terror is not down only to Muslims. Spain, Ireland and many South American countries are plagued with it. Religion has always divided people and caused wars. I believe there is one God and all religions whom ever they praise will on judgement day face that one God. Extremists have to bang their drums, they will not sit down at a rational discussion.

Christian people traditionally back the Jewish nation, which
Arabs have had disagreements with for millenium. Christianity
also conducted a Crusade against the Arab people, after they
gained control of Jerusalem.
Christianity should have been more diplomatic regarding this.
Since it teaches that we all have a spirit within, and are all the
children of our Creator.
Unfortunately, it all boils down to common human short-comings. Like pride, and a lust for revenge.

Get real..?

Is it any co-incidence these same nations "Christian nations" are pumping out resources and minerals from the Middle East, installing puppet governments nobody wants there, trying to find imaginary WMDs, and just plain invading anywhere worth making profits??

Do you see Saudi Arabia or Iran putting up a military base in the middle of Vatian city, or New York for example?

Extremist Christians have done a lot of damage in the past....but it all boils down to religion and power...Islam cant stand the christian nation and wants to take over...same with the Jews. they cant stand them cause Christians and Jews believe that Jesus is God and Islam believes that he is a prophet

They are brainwashed and feeling an injustice towards themselves and their people. Consider how there is still hatred towards the Germans from the older generation of British people because of WWII, now remember, these people are brainwashed NOW and feeling this injustice NOW not 60 years ago.
