Is good and evil an absolute that has and always will be the same for all creatures (man, animal, plant)? If not, what is the source of the determination?

Well, vapid crap is rampant on Yahoo! Answers, sad to say.

I'm not sure, perhaps we need to look to philosophy for this. Personally I think the following are always evil:

1. Murder (intentional killing) unless in the case of self defense
2. Rape
3. Incest (the cousin thing can be debated but I'd stay away from it due to genetic mutation issues)
4. Forcing ANYTHING harmful onto anyone or animal that protests it. This includes verbal and physical abuse.

Perhaps someone needs to come up with a universally agreed set of ethics... I think this could be useful, don't you?

But sociologically speaking, morals can be cuturally specific. Actually, incest is even accepted in some tribal communities.

What is the source of determination? I guess, "Will this do more harm than good?" would be a good determination question as any.

There's not an absolute Good or Evil! There is always some evil in high goodness and some good in high evilness! This is a dual Universe!
To determine if s/g is good or evil, check the amount of constructiveness or destructive ness there is as a result! (LRH)
