Oh, boy, that's a good question... :(

I think the problem, my friend, is that not everybody is as willing to be open-minded as you are. Some people don't like to question what they've always been taught. Some are just too afraid to live without guidance. Others don't see the need to question anything.

I think there is only one major truth in all human minds, regardless of religion:

Self-preservation.

Think about it. Seriously.

Humans will ALWAY argue about subjects not having any proof of an answer, lol! It's our nature... it's just a shame we can't sit down and intellectually discuss it without bashing one another!

I will start loving everyone when they quit driving like idiots, lol!

Because the more fervent believers insist that everyone has to believe like they do to be "saved". Because these fervent believers keep wanting to legislate their religious beliefs for everyone else. Because it is a ligitimate discussion: Is there a divine creator of the universe or not? I don't think so, and I don't think that our national and international policies should be shaped by the belief that there is one.

That would be nice but unfortunately christians think everyone should do exactly what their imaginary friend wants and they want to make it law (abortion, civil partnerships, genetic modification organ cloning etc). So we need to prove them wrong.
