I know I am going to be flayed alive for this, but really, why does it have to be their way all the time?

Men use the toilet with the seat up (half the time). Women use the toilet with the seat down. Why is one way supposed to be correct and the other not? Can't women simply operate it to get it in their preferred position?

I know women will say that when its up they sit down and get a wet bum, but really! We sit on it too, half the time, and I have never gotten a wet bum. Look before you sit is the solution.

And don't tell me you don't want to touch the icky seat. Heck, you're going to wash your hands afterwards anyway, right?

--What will small town Kansas think?

There are 3 of us in the house and all 3 of us are on the lease. When we moved in we all agreed that the utility bills would be split evenly 3 ways. Now one of the girls has decided that the gas bill is too expensive because we use the ducted heating (keep in mind it is the middle of winter).
she has decided to pay a 3rd of her 3rd (if that makes sense). As the bills are all in my name I have to cover the rest of her third as well as my own third. I am really angry and upset that she will not pull her weight. We have tried to talk to her but the situation has deteriorated so much that I cannot even stand to look at this girl anymore.
I have asked her to move out, to which she responded "make me" as she is on the lease I have no power to get rid of her.
Has anyone else been in this situation? please tell me how to deal with this nasty vindictive little girl....I just want my money and I would love to see her leave. HELP HELP HELP!!! :-)

I think the house Im living in it haunted. I hear strange things. There is one room in the house that has a smell like something dead in it. Its not a dead animal because the smell comes and goes depending on whos in the room. Ive also heard whistling and moaning. The house stays very cold all the time atleast 10 degrees cooler than the temp outside..Im in Australia so were going through winter. Heaters dont help. Its a bonechilling cold.

Opinions are not true. I hate when people tell me I look ugly, & that it's true. Not only that situation, but in general, people state opinions & demand that it be true. Is this ignorance? & why do I have 2 be judged & punished as a result of other people's opinions? Ex. A person may hinder me from trying new things because they feel like I don't know what I'm doing, but I do know what I'm doing.
