Does Christianity provide a way for people to still feel like the center of the universe, even though we now know how insignificant Earth is in the grand scheme of the universe?

If on the stag/hen weekend, the bride/groom kissed someone else with tongue, would you consider that as being unfaithful, or do you think that's just a bit of fun and to be expected?

If you hate people of another race, you're a racist.

If you hate people of another gender, you're a sexist.

So, if you hate homosexuals, why are you homoPHOBIC?

Shouldn't the word be something like homoSEXIST?

Just wondering what other people think.

At least the ones that grow on trees. You wouldn't want to land at the pearly gates only to be told, "Hey, I told you not to eat that stuff, didn't I? I never said it was a metaphor for knowledge, did I? I said fruit, didn't I, dummy?".

I was reading a random trivia book, and I found some interesting facts about his parenting skill.

1. He abondoned his son to lead his revolution
2. His son converted to Islam
3. He condemned the conversion publically

Does this change your views on The Mahatma?
I assure you it's true, I'm just trying to see if others have similar reactions to my own.

Revelation 7:4 says that 144,000 people will go to heaven. This means that most christians are not going to make it!!!

Probably because they are all hypocrits.

Anyway do you think that you are good enough to make it??

I know I'm not going to make it!

I personally wouldn't think eating fruit off a tree would make me think about the fact that my dork is hanging out, I understand shame for eating the fruit God told me not to. But my stuff was floping around everyday up til then so why suddenly care. Could eating of the tree of knowlege possibly be oral sex, that would explain covering my stuff up out of shame. Also when God came looking for them and saw them covering theirselves. He explained about having the knowlege of God and the feeling of shame, then there was like a pause. He didn't kick them out right then, like he left and came back later. Then he kicked them out of the garden. It's like he learned about something else that happened. My thought is he found out Eve was pregnant with Cain. And the father was Satan, that would explain why God wouldn't take his offering which hasn't been understood as of yet. It has always seemed to me that God was unfair to Cain, like there was something the reader wasn't seeing.

Why aren't people responsible for their own welfare? We had a direct hit from hurricane rita but we didn't expect the government to house us for months on end and provide us with clothes, toys for our kids, etc. Is it because we as a society have become so dependant on welfare handouts that people don't know how to take care of themselves or is it pure greed?

Everyone has a purpose. No one is here by mistake, or by accident. God purposely created you for a Purpose, Promise, and Destiny. You can never experience it unless you answer to the call he has on your life. If you are curious or have been wondering. Here is a simple prayer to God the Father in Heaven. Say this prayer with me.

Dear God if you do exist, show me. I really want to know who you are. I am lost and I need guidance. God I want the truth. I need you to open my eyes. I've been bound by sin, and I need your help. I want my life to be better than the former. So will you please hear my cry and answer my prayer. You are my only hope. Thank you Father. In Jesus name. Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer and you feel different. Then pray this prayer.

Dear God, I know you sent your only son Jesus to die for my sins that I may have everlasting life. Forgive me for my sins. Jesus come into my heart. Amen.

Congrad! you are now free...
Go to a Bible, and get in the Word.

...90% of all current conflicts seem to link back to one subject - RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES. I have no religious beliefs, but surely one of the underlying principles of all religion is an opposition to war and fighting. Therefore, all you religious types are making a mockery of yourselves and making your beliefs seem ludicrous. Give me one good answer where your religion justifies violence or war. If you can, then your religion is surely nothing short of supporting war mongering, which in principle is totally wrong.
