People feel that being gay deprives all normal thought and spirituality. Obviously being gay taints mundane things like eating in a restaurant, shopping or being a good member of the community. While I believe in gay rights, I think there is a code of decent conduct that needs to be observed and people walking in a parade in a jock strap exceeds the margin. Love and caring should be the most important principle in Christianity.

Anyone can know who God is, the Bible declares that even the demons believe and shudder. The fact that someone has chosen a lifestyle that is directly apposed to the commandments of God and then wants to be justified by their knowledge of scripture seeks a twisted dream. Homosexuality is an abomination in God's sight, a true follower of Christ knows this and changes their course.

You are absolutely right in your thoughts. I don't have much patience with the ignorance of fanatical fundie Xtians who think no one can know God but those like themselves. I get so sick of hearing and seeing stupid idiotic crap like "you can't be gay and Christian." Who are THEY to make those judgments? Such self-righteousness is absolutely nauseating coming from anyone. It's ignorance, plain and simple.

While I'm at at? Roger C? You are a fool. Stop putting homosexuals in the same boat as pedophiles. It makes you look simple. 99% of pedophiles are STRAIGHT WHITE MALES, try some education, it really doesn't hurt.

Sorry, I'm all for peace and love, but am unusually grouchy today ;).

Because people are close minded.Sexual orientation has nothing to do with the person being spiritual and devoted to one religion or God. It's good to hear from people like u that think different than the rest of society.

Of course gay people can be Christians. They are certainly much more Jesus-like than those 'christians' who preach bigotry, hatred, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT people. WWJD?

Anyone one who spouts "love the sinner, hate the sin" is a vicious hypocrite who obviously hates both.

God loves everyone that accepts him in their heart.
Most christians that I have met are bigots(not all of them) They put down gays, gambling addictions and most of them are gamblers, cheaters and addicted to something. GOD LOVES YOU IF YOU LOVE HIM NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE. I Believe in christ and the lord and pray every night because I know Jesus loves me for who I am

God didn't give us the Bible. Men gave us the Bible, cutting and pasting and editing as they darn well chose.

God gave us the 10 Commandments.

And then He gave us Jesus.
Jesus loves everyone.
So does God.

they don't know the word or they would know that homosexuality is an abomination to god.God gave us the bible as a means in which to know him. you can not live in that kind of sin and know god, because he would deal with your heart (conscience) until you had a broken heart and a contrite spirit and ask Jesus to come into your heart, and change you. then you would yearn to be pleasing to god in all aspects of your life.

Gays can be Christians...but like it or not, homosexuality is a sin in God's eyes. So yes, you would be a Christian, but you are still living in sin.

Thank you!

I don't get how exclusion and Christianity are compatable. Christ was the most INclusive person to ever walk the Earth.
