Everyone has a purpose. No one is here by mistake, or by accident. God purposely created you for a Purpose, Promise, and Destiny. You can never experience it unless you answer to the call he has on your life. If you are curious or have been wondering. Here is a simple prayer to God the Father in Heaven. Say this prayer with me.

Dear God if you do exist, show me. I really want to know who you are. I am lost and I need guidance. God I want the truth. I need you to open my eyes. I've been bound by sin, and I need your help. I want my life to be better than the former. So will you please hear my cry and answer my prayer. You are my only hope. Thank you Father. In Jesus name. Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer and you feel different. Then pray this prayer.

Dear God, I know you sent your only son Jesus to die for my sins that I may have everlasting life. Forgive me for my sins. Jesus come into my heart. Amen.

Amen sister. Continue to spread the truth. People on here really need to hear it...i am not kidding! They are going to tear you down and laugh and mock you...but God is going to reward you one day. Don't be afraid to stand up for your faith. It's encouraging to see other Christians on here spreading the truth.

God bless you!

I definitely find the idea of a single deity, being male, very unfullfilling. I can happily say, I have 'seen the light' now that I finally have accepted the whole thing as a misinterpretation (either by accident or with a purposeful deception by those in power or who want it) and feel much more at peace learning about this or that to my heart's content.
if you believe 'No one is here by mistake, or by accident' then the concept of Hell is pretty cruel, isn't it? Even if there were a judgemental deity who was omniscient, would making a place of eternal torment be a 'loving' act if 'It' already knew what the choice would be?

Lack of another answer is not a justification for yours. I believe that there is a purpose for life, but being unaware of that right now is no reason to go making things up. We will find the answer, eventually. Just like we found out that the Earth orbits the Sun, eventually. (eventually here meaning after persecution of many scientists, such as Galileo and Copernicus)

The bible was an okay book, but this one I am reading by Steven King ROCKS!! (Cell)

If jesus died for my sins, he died hard, I've been sinning and grinning for the past 41 years.

jesus was a charlatan who convinced a whole bunch of folks to follow him, just like Jim Jones, Reverend Moon, and David Koresh.

I am here 'cause a sperm met an egg and bingo bango 9 months later here I is..

Hey if you need the church to survive, more power to ya, I don't feel the need to give some guy in a dress my hard earned cash to have him tell me how bad I am, feed me a dry cracker and a sip of bad wine, tell me they are my god and collect 20% (tithe) of my cash and say see ya next week..

although if I had to choose, I guess I would go catholic, whoop it up all week, cheat on the old lady, drinks, drugs, masturbate, (fill in vice of choice here) then on Saturday go tell it to the man...forgive me father I have sinned..., gargle with holy water and voila' all sin forgiven...what a religion

you utilize the term terrorists as though they are not human. Reasoning with terrorists might desire to be a threat and makes greater sense than at once asserting warfare. The U.S. many times needs to purpose development bridges extremely of the choice. Going against the U.N. wasn't a clever circulate and to that end, an excellent style of alternative international locations do unlike human beings. to illustrate, French human beings do not likely like human beings, so are we going to easily stay enemies. international family is already a greater effective decision than warfare, yet some examples such the yankee Revolution warfare grew to become into needed.

Yes, my purpose is to drink beer and chase wild women.

In recent years, it has been limited to chasing beer. I can still catch wild women, but I don't remember what I'm supposed to do with them. Beer is a little easier, I just drink it and it makes the world such a better place.

It is hard to imagine how anyone considers their existence to be unique or special given the billions of people who have lived & died and no one knows they existed, much less anything they actually did.

But, to each his own.

"If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning."--CS Lewis

Why must we have a purpose? Who told you this was so? Only you can dictate your purpose in this world.
