I am wondering if most people know that the seventh day (Saturday) is the Sabbath and on this is day you should rest and keep it Holy?? With knowing that, why does everybody still go to church on Sunday...the first day of the week??....I'm not trying to offend anyone...just curious about the answers!!
Be Blessed!!

ok, i like the old saying "there's no such thing as a dumb question"
but i seem to proof that wrong everytime i get on this profile. my questions are so braindead at times. & it's not like i'm a complete idiot ( batteries weren't included). so thus it can't be "...no such thing as a dumb question, just a dumb person".
lets just bewid of this phrase shall we?

My niece shelba is staying with me for a few months while her mom recovers from meth and crack use. The other day she came from school talking about peterpan and god and jesus. I grounded her for 2 days. I cant be.lieve she learned this filth in school. Talking about angels that fly and a man that died on a cross tha tis god. and holy spirits ( ghosts if i may say) I mean how can schools talk about pagan beliefs to other peoples children. I want to know what is the proper way to ground her? can sue her school. Wait untill Argus hears about this. He wont be happy

Being straight isn't a choice, but that doesn't mean you can have sex with whomever you want. Many people have used animal behavior to justify homosexual behavior, but such an argument would never make sense in the context of infidelity or sexual promiscuity. Unlike animals, humans are supposed to be accountable for their actions and be able to control their desires. Also, in the hedonistic culture of ancient Rome, where homosexuality was considered the norm, everyone was engaging in it. The Romans couldn't possibly have all been "gay", which shows that many people would engage in same sex behaviour if their society encouraged it.

The Nazarene was sent to live the life of every man, and he felt the fascination of the stars. He came; He saw; He surrendered all so that we might be born again. And the fact of his humanity was there for all to see. But he was ulike any other man, and---yet--so much like me.

If I say Christians are stupid for believing in the Bible instead of science, and Christianity is a bloody religion because of the crusades, it's not considered particularly offensive.

If I say Muslims consider the rest of us infidels and that their religion contains a lot of violent teachings, - no big deal.

If I say scientologists are wacked for believing in Xenu the galactic emperor and that they brainwash people and aren't even a "real" religion - yawn.

If I say Hindu's are misguided for that whole cast system and for considering cows sacred - no big deal.

But if I pull a "Mel" and say Jews are responsible for all of the wars - game over man! Media crucifiction, career suicide.

Why the difference.

I deleted a similar question because all the answers though nice were not even relevant.

Im looking for sidebyside comparison of verses from different bible versions.
The closest of the original question would only do one bible at a time. Another one would only do a small choice set of verses.

All the other answeres were soley decent sites for invidual research and not even related to the question.
Im looking for what I have seen in the recent past but cant remember what it is was called and it was FREE and dos based.

I remmber that it was about 5 years ago and was then a very popular pgm and easy to use , and in fact is the reason I dont care about NIV.
