And then the same people who follow a religion start crying about a war that is going on. Don't they understand that their religion is playing a huge part in why the conflict is happening? Duh. I guess that's how dumb people are when their brainwashed by the biggest lie in history.

I couldn't be bother to continue on all the bad sides to religions. So I'll stop there and read all the pathetic answers that are going to roll in.

Hey, Christian, Jewish, and Muslim women, God made you to fit man's need? Do you try to fit his need or are you always after your own desire?

I have learned quite a bit from all the postings. I maynot have the same beliefs but I still find what others have to say interesting. I do see God in all of nature and wish it was respected and revered much more than it is. I do wonder about other lives. My religion teaches "life everlasting" but I will not know exactly what that is until I die. I have lived most of my life as an unbeliever so I understand unbelief. I really have respect for American Indians. Every Fall My husband and I drive the Mohawk trail and I learn about them. I have even been to a Pow Wow. Today lets do or say something nice to each other. When we look at the other person lets just see a child of the universe, sharing our planet with us. Peace.

God is a selfish thing who does everything for one reason and one reason only and that is himself, my daughter is suffering because god gave his son up to save me and my family so for that i should be gratefull....NOT. my brother died at the age of 21 because god was 'testing' me to see if i would still beleive so for that i should worship him...NOT. and as for you people that say i should still pray, who are you trying to kid. why don't you all wake up and smell the coffe that is indeed called REALITY. because I beleive that if all you religious people opened your eyes and had a look the world that surrounds us then i think that you aswell would question your faith.

If you drop an 'Air biscuit' whilst in company - do you admit it and apologise, or do you try to pass the blame off by glaring at someone and enquiring - 'Pooh is that you', or does the poor dog just get it again?
Just a daft question - no windy answers please!

The one big force which we all believe is god ,or rather we all fear to defy his/her/its supremacy over other things .Most of us are not atheists ,and we do not question the existence of the so called master of the universe. I don’t know exactly why all humans don’t want to think beyond his/her supremacy, but I guess it’s because we all fear that the god would not pardon us if we all try to do so. There is a subtle fear amongst all of us, that if at all we try to question the supremacy of god, he may loose his temper and shower all his extra natural powers upon us. Many of us go to the temple, sing prayers, lie flat on the ground possibly to ask for comforts in life, hoping that the prevailing peace should prevail forever, and to ward off all evils. But I fail to understand that if god created universe then isn’t his responsibility that all his creations are not suffering, unless he is a villain. I also fail to understand that if god is omnipresent ,then why need arises for us to go to temples/mosques etc.And if he is knowledgeable ,then why is there a need for us to beg in front of him, I mean he would take care of all such needs on his own. I see many good men and women suffering, then isn’t it the responsibility of god they they shouldn’t remain like this? Is the god being selective or is he biased in showering the good will only on some of his creations? Some people say that they are suffering because of all the sins done in their previous lives. Then why did this god allowed them to commit those sins in their so called previous lives? Is he just playing a video game for the sake of fun, the so called eeshwar kee maaya?

Okay what exactly is NOT a sin according to the bible?? I have been reading off the wall answers all day about what is a sin. If there really is one of those "judgement days" I am soooo F*CKIN SCREWED!

So please list what is okay to do...here's the twist, it has to be okay and not a sin to all religions.

I posted this question a few days ago (see below), and got very disappointing responses from people who didn't seem to read the question. It might be dumb, but I'll try it again.

I am asking BOTH, BOTH, supporters of the Iraq war and opponents of it how they came to their conclusions and what the consequences would be if their opinion is wrong and we followed the wrong advice.

Don't try to guess my view or try to respond to it, because I haven't given it. That's not the point.

Thanks.

as you all probably know a have posted a few questions on here today in which you are all answering with the same answers "god does these things for good reasons" blaa blaa blaa a few of you even said that god has no power over the things that happen in life such as accidents etc, so what about these famous 'miracles' then that you all seem to drum into our heads at every opportunity and the minuite somebody questions these 'miracles' then you soon change your tune and say god has no power over these things, so which one is it? is god majic like you all say he turned water into wine etc or is he powerless like you are all saying today? in my eyes if he can feed thousands of people with one loaf of bread then why can't he feed the millions of homeless people starving on our streets today? or in fact why can't he perform one of his 'miracles and make my daughter better and stop her suffering? oh i forgot......he is testing me. well why does my baby need to be tested?

Well recently me I have decided with everything, to put myself in that persons situation and think " would I like people judging me".....
and I learned with others hating me, a thing to remember is Jesus said. "If the World hates you remember they hated me first"
And also only you know what you have done and you shold not have to prove yourself to anyonebecause you know what you have done or are capable of Jesus made that clear.
