Yes, I do believe that Jesus did the things that the Bible speaks of.
It comes down to a matter of faith. Either everything in the Bible is true, or God is a liar.
Let's look at it from a different angle. Jesus, even according to the Roman documents, was put to death for his claims. The Jews demanded His death because He claimed to be God. Now, this leaves us with only three possibilities. Jesus was who He said He was. Jesus was a liar. Or, Jesus was a lunatic.
Would a liar willingly die for a claim he knew was untrue? NO! This leaves us with two possibilities. Jesus was who He said He was, or Jesus was a lunatic.
At this point, we must look at the record. There is nothing in recorded history to indicate that Jesus was a lunatic. However, we have multipule witnesses testifying to His deity. Multiple people have recorded similar accounts of the miracles of Jesus. If all the records were identical, I would wonder about the authenticity. But, even today, eye-witnesses of the same event seldom tell the story exactly like anyone else. There is always some detail that is different, but the story is essentially the same.
Looking at these things from a legal standpoint, there is no reason to doubt the miracles which Jesus is recorded to have performed. So, I now ask, is it a matter of faith or is it a matter of accepting the evidence?

History has NOT proved that Jesus existed. Just because something is written in a book does not mean it is true.
If Jesus can turn water into wine (was that an important thing to do?), or if he can take 5 loaves and 2 fish and feed 5,000 people, then why can't he feed the millions of starving people in the world today? Why can't he stop Africa from being so ravaged by AIDS? Why can't he stop the wars in Iraq and the Lebanon? Why did he allow the holocaust to happen (if the Jews were God's chosen people)?
What is God doing today that is so important that he can't take time out of his schedule and fix the world? What is he doing at this very moment? If he can see the world, can't he care enough to fix his planet and care for his people? Or does he want to be a slum landlord and let the planet go entirely to ruin?
So, as far as the miracles are concerened, again, just because these are written in a book does not mean they really happened.
Don't believe everything your hear or read!

Miracles are miracles because we don't know how it works. Once you realise the way it works - then it is not a miracle. It is a matter of wisdom.
While healing (doing miracles) Jesus says, "your sins are forgiven". It means looking at a person He was able to understand what sin is the cause of infirmity that man is affected with. Like a 5 - 6 year old child when tries to tell his father some lies the father catches from his own words that it is a lie. When father exactly points at that nature of the child, he will be afraid to say another lie next time.
This is the way Jesus used to heal the evil processed people. For rest of the world it becomes a miracle. But for Him it is wisdom. Similarly for other sicknesses too, He must have used similar wisdom.

No, history has not proven that he existed, although it's not impossible. However, if he did exist then there's no reason to think he was anything other than a mortal man with normal human abilities.
A miracle means to suspend the laws of physics, and we've no evidence that this is possible - All we have is a book, which was unarguably written by men, and which makes these claims without supporting them in any way. Why should we believe any of it?

Actually, there seems to be more proof that "he" didn't exist. I was born and raised a Catholic, but the more I've searched, the more I'm convinced that jesus is just another myth in a long line of similar myths and beliefs. As for the miracles - if he did exist - no. The miracles didn't happen the way we are led to believe.

Yes GOD has performed and STILL PERFORMS miracles. I know a lot of people who GOD has healed. I experience GOD everyday in my life. I don't imagine His existence, specially when HE communicates with you on daily baisis.
One of the numerous miracles are the several apparitions of Virgin Mary in Egypt. Of course this was not the only country she appeared in. But she appeared for several years in Egypt and the last time was this year. She performed miracles to thousands. Her apparitions and miracles were so phenomenal that they were reported with pictures by foreign newspapers as well as the Official newspapers of an Islamic country like egypt, which is not an easy thing to happen. (The apparitions were so screaming that the official ministers and egyptian press could not deny and admitted the credibility of the apparitions ...they just couldn't deny what they were seeing with their own eyes).

We all believe our own existence and seeing the vastness and veriety of creation which is far beyond our comprehension we are forced to consider it as a miracle. So did Jesus live in his own times and wheather he created miracles to make people believe in what he said or not what we are watching today with all our makebelieve human progress-scientific, technological or hightech, the high grounds upon which he used to deliver his sermons are presently occupied by instruments of war and destruction. His soothing words relieving peoples' minds of daily turmoils are now replaced by booming thunders of howitzers reverberating the vallys and the peace of human life which jesus sought to preserve during his short span of life is at present being engulfed by the darkest shadow of scientific wisdom snatching away all peace and true definition of the very human existence.

Jesus came to this earth as a human being. That's why He is proven in History. But His lifestyle is of a divine being. He was sent by God the Father Himself. That's why He had the divine powers to do things He did. No one can prove His miracles. You just have to believe the Bible and what it says. Its faith that makes you a whole person. Not science or history. Faith in Jesus, the Son of God who came down to earth to save mankind from their sins and open a pathway to God (Heaven)

Give me these documents that point to anything remotly saying that Jesus ever existed, and maybe we'll talk. Of course, you'll never be able to find these to give to me as there are no such documents, so...
But even if he did exist, doesn't mean he ever did any miracle.
Maybe magic tricks. I DID hear he entertained at birthday parties back in the day. ^_~
