It literally translates from Italian to something like "the cold pension house" which doesn't really mean anything to me! I'll ask one of my Italian friends and get back to you ;)

But I seem to recall a pensione being a guesthouse that people can rent, so I think it means a cold rental room. They are usually pretty cheap, probably why that one is so cold, lol.
