Well recently me I have decided with everything, to put myself in that persons situation and think " would I like people judging me".....
and I learned with others hating me, a thing to remember is Jesus said. "If the World hates you remember they hated me first"
And also only you know what you have done and you shold not have to prove yourself to anyonebecause you know what you have done or are capable of Jesus made that clear.

You really can't be "more like Jesus" because there is so little known about the real person. The most you can do is read the stuff that people wrote about Jesus decades after his death in the Bible. But that stuff was written 40 to 150 after Jesus supposedly died and in that day people tended to exaggerate what their idols did in life. And there is evidence that much of that text was edited long afterwards. Furthermore, many of the stories of Jesus were "borrowed" from other myths and religions of the day, so it really is hard to discern what the real Jesus would have been like.

Why follow a single old book anyway? Sure, there is some wisdom you can get from the Bible, but it is not the only source. There are many other books that have information that is more relavent in this time. You should look to broaden your knowledge in many areas instead of just concentrating on one book. Also, in any book you read, you shouldn't just accept what they say at face value. You should look into whether what they say is wise or unwise and why.

Ultimately, you are your own unique person. You have to make up your mind for yourself about who that person will be.

My strategy is to do the right thing and tell the truth (don't exactly need Jesus to tell me that doing that will make me a better person) If the world hates you, it's because they were told to hate you, or because you did/are doing something to pi$$ them off.

and btw,

Check your history, USA was not founded as a christian nation, that's why God isn't in the constitution. It was written by "We the people..."

In fact, it says congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

The 10 commandments says, I am the lord thy god, thou shalt have no false gods before me.

So is the US a christian nation or not?

Firstly, let me tell you Jesus didnt say that to you. He said that to the apostles. Because they went around preaching like Jesus did, and people hated them.

To your second question:
Many people in the US think they are doing a great favor to God by helping Israel.

But Israel has existed long before the US came into existence. And they dont need any "Godfathers".

I'll walk more on water, I will turn more of that water that I just walked on into wine and I'll see if I can walk on that too, if not I'll hope it's drinkable anyway and invite Mel Gibson round for a few bottles. I'll bring more dead people back to life and..well that should do for a today!

No one can be Christ like acting on his own initiative, pray everyday for His grace, and the power of the Holy Spirit to aid you in this quest. This is what I do.

I wish I could be more like Jesus, I know that some day I will be. For now I will try to be more like the Bible, I think it points to Jesus from begining to end. I will try to point people to Jesus and his love. Help them to understand that he cares for them like I care for my own children.

I guess Jesus tried to point us to God instead of himself, maybe in trying to point everyone I can to Jesus I am becoming more like him.

Very soon he will make me more like him, I will be with him forever. I don't think he will wait much longer to return.

I try to love others, even those with whom I disagree, I love my neighbors and friends and family, but I also pray for those who one might consider my enemy. God tells us that we are not to judge others, that is his job, we are to love one another and spread the good news of Christ in an informative and loving way.

Nail myself to a cross!? Jesus is dead, bud.

One of the reasons america and israel are hated so much is america is a bully and israel are slaughtering the inhabitants of the country they stole, in the name of 'God'.

The age old war between good and evil. The devil wants to kill, steal, and destroy. He is still deceived and thinks he has a chance, but we know that he doesn't.
