Why does it seem gay couples are unable to stand the test of time? Very few gays I know have long term relationships. Many gay friends are amazed that I've been in one for almost two years. Why is that? Does this explain the high number of single, older, gay men?

Is there even an answer to this one?!

In Spanish, the table is feminine, the car is masculine, beer is feminine and (mysteriously) the clitoris is masculine. Plenty of other languages do this too, but there seems to be no consensus as to things that are masculine or feminine in every language. Cars are female in French, for example.

So how did this feature of language come to exist? Nobody in any language thinks that objects actually ARE male or female, they're just objects, so why did they start calling them "he" and "she"? And why do we NOT do it in English?

PS: Yes I know we sometimes call boats "she", for example, but that's just a figure of speech. According to the grammatical rules of English, a boat is an "it".

Recently I've met someone, and at first glance appears to be very good looking, very sexy and smart. We started talking and before we knew it; we hadn't introduced ourselves. When I was told his name I sort of cringed. Help!

That when I recieve an email from one proclaiming to be a Christian that is insulting I can use what I learned from Christ (not being a Christian I might add) to respond without being ignorant? Why don't more people adhere to Christ's teachings in Matthew 7?

Why is Mary called a virgin in Catholicism, when she had other children than Jesus? She is no longer a Virgin, even if she had no other children, she did eventually marry Joseph, so we can ascertain from their marriage that she wasn't a virgin after Jesus was born.

Shouldnt believers worship in spirit AND in truth?

If the christian faith is all about grace and salvation and how it's not what we do but what Jesus did for us then why should we fear him? How can God cut branches from the tree that do not produce fruit if its not up to the individuals actions or even heart once they have been saved? If an individual is saved, i.e. accepted jesus into his heart, then is he at risk then of loosing it if he does not follow some standard? It seems to me that it is a serious contradiction.

Jesus Said "NO man comes to the Father, but through me". It doesn't matter who you are or what you believe, Everyone is subject to the commands and instructions of the Bible. When we die, God will judge us by His Moral Laws. Have you told a lie, stolen, committed adultery, used God's name in vain? If you stand guilty before God on judgment day, God will send you to Hell. The good news is that God has provided a way for you to be forgiven, and accepted into Heaven. Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose again in order to pay the debt for your sins. You must Repent, which means to ask forgiven, and turn away from your sins, then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then will you be forgiven and accepted into Heaven, not because your a good person, but because your a bad person who's been FORGIVEN..

In the United States, where some people are clamoring that the laws are based on the Ten Commandments and this is a Christian nation, does anyone else appreciate the irony that so many courthouses have an image of a Greek or Roman Goddess (Themis or Justitia) on them?

I'll take a Satanist moving in next door over a Christian any day of the week. My experience with them is they let you lead your life, they respect you, they don't care if you are different or live differently than they do, they mind their own damn business if you mind yours, and they don't preach or try to convert you. Their fashion sense usually leaves something to be desired, but that's unimportant. Christians are just gigantic pains in the butt. So why do Satanists act towards others the way Christians SHOULD, and Christians act like they (falsely) accuse Satanists of acting? Is this Bizarro-world or is it me?

And they don't molest your kids like the local Deacon.

The men mostly replied by saying sorry. So I just asked: 'are all women twats'. Guess what, that's right, all the women attacked me. See the difference? men apologise but women in the same position attack the man. So men apologise for being attacked but women attack the one who says something about them. What an example of conditioning; men have been conditioned to be second class citizens. It would be ok, but they steal millions of our children........ Us men should stick up for our kids and ourselves.
