I don't know what you mean exactly. I know that you can email people by going to their profile but it's not like Yahoo gives you their direct email address -- email just goes through Yahoo QA. There are people emailing mean things sometimes but truth is, you can take your email off so it will stop too. What exactly did you hear????

Ok I had to edit my answer.....lemme see if I can get this right. If people are emailing you, it's because you have your settings to allow that privilege. I think the stalker part is when they answer all of your questions that you ask or answer? I havent had any problems yet....Where did you get this 411? Im a "cat" person too now...

That's why my profile info. is blocked. No one can contact me directly through email or IM. I've seen quite a few people on here that complain about harassing emails.

It's pretty safe, as you don't have to answer emails from forum participants, and can mark them as spam. Yahoo keeps your information secure.
