i sing songs like check on it, hips don't lie and others but people comlain about it. what's so wrong about it?

Is that what he wanted - for us to be pansies and get smacked around by criminals and theives?

The ten commandments pretty much say we shouldn't kill etc. What about animals? Is it OK to kill them? I mean, we could live without eating them.

Why isn't it OK to seek retribution in this corrupt world?

I'm a Christian by the way, but that part kind of gets to me because I'll go to Hell before I let someone hurt my child.

I mean I dont mynd mispelled words like "embbarazing" or "wierd" cuz those r just 2 damn complicated n ppl r aloud 2 ocassionally make misteaks but than there r these ppl who intenntinaly maek up words lyke "b4" or "ne1" or "gud" I mean what is up wiz that? They say no 1 cares about spelling but how can u not care aboutt gud spelling if its ez on de i's n its an integral part off reeding n we all likye 2 read cuz that makes us least iggnorant, wright? Sum ppl then also deciede to criticzims evry typoes I made n they laffed b/c I turned an ez word like "insane" in2 "inane" becuz the latter is juss nonexistant. There r also ppl who tipe like there y kei is broken (like, their rite "sexi" instead of "sexy" n "boi" instead of "boy") but their still better then ppl who ignores completely the rulez of punxuation and they have like 5 sentences b4 they use a period but worse still r u guyz who axually read dis untill thee nd cuz I guess u must b rilly bored or something kthx 4 listening bye!

I don’t think there is much doubt today that all religions are just mystical cults with their clever magic tricks conjured up to awe inspire their believers and followers. Take the Christian mythological cult for example. God is supposed to have created the universe, incarnated (magic trick) himself as Jesus and written the Bible.

But today God is totally silent. The only thing we hear about God comes from people speaking on his behalf, namely cult leaders and followers, most of whom are lunatics and war mongers. If God genuinely existed, he would silence these people because they are an absolute embarrassment. Just check out some religious idiots who post on YA.

When you listen to these idiots trying to justify God’s love and existence, it takes very little commonsense to realise how imaginary God is. If God were real, he would speak for himself. The fact that God does not speak, and that he allows any lunatic who comes along to speak in his name, proves that God is imaginary.

In the old days sunrise to sundown = Day, sundown to sunrise = Night.
Since people are keeping time, a day is 24 hours, running from midnite to midday, with phrases like morning, afternoon, evening & night. Where does one part start and ends??
I had a discussion about this with my gf, who stated that from midnite to midday it is morning, while i say midnite to sunrise is nite, sunrise to midday is morning. Most people do agree that midday is where morning goes to afternoon.
I do tend to call it morning untill i have my lunch, using that as switch between morning & afternoon.

So how do you see that? do you spllit a day in 4x 6 hrs? or just how you feel?

We know that reason and evidence are the routes to truth, because they work. When NASA sends a spacecraft to another planet, and it arrives in the right place and the right time and sends back the images they wanted, the scientists know that the science is right because they got what they expected. Science gets results. If the science was wrong, we know that it would simply never work.

So how can we tell if religious beliefs are true? If they're not based on reason and evidence, aren't they worthless? If we have no way of confirming or falsifying them, aren't they indistinguishable from fantasies?

alright so homosexuals want to get married right and marriage is a holy sacromony in such which is the problom people think of.

well anyways there are 2 types of marriages the TRUE marriage the early ones which are done by priest is known as a holy holy marriage. then there is the cival marriage which can be done by anyone liscensed called a cival marriage why dont we call these 2 different things like have cival marriages which is what homosexuals marriages get and call it something anything so we wont have the the problom with gay marriages or am i totally off on the wrong idea what is your guys opinions

All through the Middle East there is hatred toward the non-Muslims who live in Europe and America. Some feel that our lifestyles are immoral. Some think we put the desire for oil above everything else. Some think we don't show enough respect for their prophets. But what is the real reason for the deeply felt hatred? I'm walking up the street to the car garage from work. As I'm walking up the street, there's a lady who's walking in the same direction as me. The closer we get, I notice that she slightly grips her handbag a little tighter, and she looks a little afraid. My thought? "What the heck is up with her?" Then it dawns on me. "Black guy walking up the street." Ok. I'm 5'5, weigh barely 140lbs soak and wet. Intimidating? I look like urkel! She looked to be about 180lbs. I'm the one that should be worried! "Hey little guy, you look like devil's food cake!" Any thoughts?
