Why is the Chruch like that today? I mean, the purpose driven life came and went. And now the church in general seems to be calm quiet or dead of lifeless

All too often, churces get involved in programs. Rather than doing like Paul did, "...for I never shrank from telling you the whole counsel of God." (Acts 20:27).

No, today we instead see "For the time will come when people will not put up with healthy doctrine but with itching ears will surround themselves with teachers who cater to their own needs. They will refuse to listen to the truth and will turn to myths." (II Timothy 4:3-4)

We are falling into the same trap the Roman church fell into. Substituting God's Word with man-made programs. We dilute the Word by condensing favorite verses into a program, and then wonder why the church is so shallow. It is because we teach them fluffy doctrine. "God loves you and you won't have trouble. God loves you and wants you to be rich. God loves you and isn't He lucky to have saints as cool as you?"

According to many in the church today, those Christians who are persecuted in China or the Middle East must be in some horrible sin, because God is obviously not blessing them materially.

That kind of teaching is an abomination, and an insult to our brothers and sisters who experience daily the words of Jesus, "Then they will hand you over to suffering and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations because of my name." (Matthew 24:9)

The church today is dead for the most part, however there is a few that are alive and doing what the believe. You won't see them on the front page of any newspaper, but you will see it in there actions.

The sad part is these churches have the outline anf they don't even teach it. They are to busy looking for the next feel good book or idea to come along when they have access to the real deal.

The Bible became compiled by the only, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church based by Christ. there became no Catholic Church till ultimately after the large Schism of East and West in 1054, ensuing interior the Orthodox Christian Church and the Catholic Christian Church. If no longer for the Catholic Church conserving Christianity alive interior the West, Protestant Christians *does not have a Bible.* while Luther broke faraway from the Catholic Church, he bumped off seven books from the Bible through fact he did no longer like what they suggested. He concept he knew better than the centuries of Christian scholars and theologians, and his followers curiously weren't scholarly adequate to question that. Denying the beginning place of the Bible is laughable; this is like a baby asserting he had no mothers and dads and grandparents.

What do you mean seem? It is!!! I wont step foot in most buildings called church. I will fellowship with like minded believers. Mark my words, or really the Words of God. Judgment is coming to all lukewarm Christians and Nicolations. God is love, but God has also stored up a day of wrath for the fake Christians and those who blatantly reject His son Jesus the Christ.

Because a lot of churches today are not preaching THE WORD OF GOD...rather preaching politically correct sermons.

We are in need of a revival, that usually comes from prayer and fasting, and many are not willing to commit to that.
