but sunday is the begining of the week i hate it when ppl do not read the whole question....

I guess its because its the "ends of the week. Front and back. But, I say its more from people calling Monday thru Friday the work week and Sat and Sun come at the end.
Oh, why does it matter? Just get back in bed!

It is the beginning and end to the work week. We all know business and money are the center of the Universe. Well, they are the center of the week as well.
