Does anyone know if any studies have been done that show if any specific environmental or social factors contribute to a child growing up to be gay? Or does anyone know of a website that has these kind of statistics?

It gets very confusing for me and obviously for most christians , as there seems to be little consensus on anything in the bible. Thou shalt not kill...ever? only to protect yourself? Only if you have to...only if your country tells you to?...Never! What about that one?

...if there is a church on earth that god endorses and directs, isn't it necessary that he bestowed his power and authority to it?

Most christian religions are created by reformer or founders who acted because there was something wrong with another church, however, very few claim that God founded their church.

So the way I see it, either the catholics are right and have been all along, or it's a church who was set up by god and directed by god.

This rules out the methodists, prodistants, baptists, evangilists, jehovah's witnesses, and many others.

My whole life i have spent explaining to people who i am. I am very proud of being Kurdish but sometimes i wish i was of a nationality that all people knew of. My family came from Spain to Southwestern USA before the Mayflower. When I was a kid, I had to choose boxes of "white", "black" or "Asian". I thought I was like all of the other kids that were Italian or Greek or Irish - I was "White". Now I have to check a box that I am "Hispanic" - which is a national origin. Sometimes, I can check the "Hispanic" box and a "White" box. I haven't changed - why did my classification change?
