Nothing has never existed and never will. Something can never come from nothing (there is no possibility in nothing), therefore, something has always existed. Similarily, something and nothing cannot co-exist, for one would have to contain the other, which is impossible (i.e., how could dimensionless nothing contain a three dimensional object?. That thing which has always existed must be infinite; it cannot have an edge, i.e., a border with nothingness (something and nothing cannot co-exist). This infinite thing would also have to be singular in nature - there could not be two of these infinite things, because then neither thing would be infinite. So, this thing which has always existed must be (a) infinite and (b) singular.
There are only two candidates I can think of that possess these attributes: god (in theory) and space. Space is singular (there is only one space - think about it) and logically must be infinite (i.e., if you go to the edge of space and then go ten feet further, where would you be? Would you smack into a wall of nothing?)
What is more logical as a candidate for this thing that has always existed of its own accord: the most complex thing imaginable (god) or the simplest thing observable (space)?
Science will soon discover that everything is made of space interacting with itself, and no one will question the idea of space having existed forever (it will be the defacto foundation of all existence - the thing from which all other things are derived). The big bang will be seen as a local occurance, and just another instance of space interacting with itself (i.e., this collection of matter and energy we call the universe is but one of an infinite number of such occurances in the infinite expanse of space). All energy will be seen as a condensation as space, and all matter as simply different densities of energy. The phrase 'all is one' will take on a greater significance as we truly realize we are all essentialy different patterns of the same space, and that everything is woven from the same fabric.
In such an equation there is no need nor room for a god or gods as creator of all things, though it does open up the certain possibility that in an infinite expanse of time and space other intelligent beings were produced by the same process we were and are far enough ahead of us to be considered gods relative to us. What I have just described is the Hindu religion in modern terms...

God is, was and always will be. Faith is first, but the bible provides some beautiful evidence. In the book of Isaiah, it is written that "God sits about the circle of the earth" - maybe this is why Christopher Columbus knew he would not "fall" off the side?
Science requires 5 basics - Time (IN the beginning), Force (God) Action (Created), The Heavens (Space) and the earth (Matter). Linear time as we know it had a beginning and will have an ending, thus speaking it would need a creator since it is not infinite. The Creator of such must be infinite and must love, because without love creation would not exist, we would have been destroyed LONG ago.

It depends on your belief. Faith is what you believe, and I believe that there is a God. It all depends on the person, and no one can force you into a religion.
A common question that is asked about God and his existance is "Why is there evil in the world and why can't God just wave a hand over it all and make it all go away? Doesn't he want the best for us?" The answer is, we are born into a world of sin. Sin is in our nature and we are sinful people, therefore our lives cannot be perfect. We must face the obstacles in life like every sinful human...if we weren't sinful, then everything would come easily to us. But since we are, we have to work and strive in life. Bad things happen because there is sin in the world. God loves us no matter what, though.
Anyway, to answer your question: In my opinion, there is a God and He is my Lord and Savior.

Most definitely! I suggest you start reading the Bible. Get a modern translation like "The Message" which will make it easy to grasp. Start with the book of John in the New Testament, then read the Psalms. After that, I suggest you find a good comprehensive study guide to help you.
Everything that God is, everything He has chosen to reveal about Himself is in that book. You don't have to look any further.

Ya know, as a young adult, I really struggled with that. I was raised to beleive in God. I went to college and expanded my views and felt myself leaning toward the "no God theory". But I am old enough now to have seen enough miracles to know, beyond any doubt, that there is a God. Besides, I would much rather believe in Him and learn that I am wrong when I die than to not believe and learn He existed all along.

Yes. I experienced God personally when I was 17.
Of course, this is not proof for you, nor would I expect others to take my word, even if they knew me for some time. My wife believes me, as do my close friends, but I have no mission, no message. Just the experience.
I wish I could help everyone have it, but most people aren't interested, so I have no book, no group, no following. I just help my wife regain her innocence a bit at a time, and raise my daughter in such a way that she will never lose it.
God is everywhere, everywhen, everything, simultaneously. Hard to miss him except that he's hard to recognize past his forms.
I wish you fortune on your search.

Let me tell you. My life was turned upside down within a year and a half. I went from cursing every second word to never swearing, from cursing Christians for what they believe to loving them more than i was ever able to love before and i have been completely freed from shame and much of the sin that i was once a slave to. If there was not a God, believe me i would not have been able to grow half as much or as fast as i did. I believe in our God of love and i hope you do too. May our God of love be with you in your search.

?DOG a yllaer ereht sI
Which make absolutely no sense except for the DOG and yes in spanish.
Therefore, where did the DOG come from if not from GOD looking in a mirror, and man thought he was made in GOD'S image. Si?

I'm here responding to your question, aren't I?
(just kidding)
Some say "ABSOLUTELY YES, YOU HEATHEN!"
Some say "NO WAY, YOU FOOL!"
Some say "well, maybe!"
Notice the use of ALL CAPS for the yes and no. They're usually the ones who are shouting the loudest. Fanatics get that way.
Myself, I do not feel that God can be proved or disproved. It's a matter of faith only- what you yourself actually believe.
