Source? According to Genesis, Adam was created on the 6th day, God rested on the 7th, and Eve was created thereafter.
Perhaps you have misread? It's a common mistake, such as when it is preached that the thief went to heaven the day he died or that Christ went to "hell" and preached to lost souls. The persons who preach this have good intentions, they simply have misread scripture. Jesus actually said, "Verily I say unto you today, you will be in paradise with me." The promise was made that day, not the fulfillment of that promise. Christ rested in his grave ("hades" in Greek is "Sheol" in Hebrew, and both mean "grave.") The fact that Christ did not ascend until after his resurrection is bore out by his own words to Mary: "Do not detain me, for I have not yet ascended to my father." As you can see, it is easy to misread scripture. I'm sure this is what you have done.

We are still in day seven [ 7 ], Gen.2:2,4 [ Heb.4:1-12];
Satan has 6,130 years from Eden, 130 years is day six, 7000 in day 7, he will be in 7 full world powers Rev.17:1-6,10-14[ Jesus was crucified in #6, Daniel was in #3, Cyrus and Ezra in #4, Greece was #5, WORLD GETS THE BIBLE IN #7 KJV Bible 1611 + 303 = 1914 after Christ world of the last days and end time has an excepted translation, now any can result but will any have 303 years? So in 1914 WW1 of 1260 days, 42 months or 3 1/2 years and 1000 religions were there to see #7 end and Jesus second coming is in the 8th that goes into perdition as Jesus in Rev.20:1-6; has the last 1000 years of day seven to make all as perfect as it was in Eden, and as Gen,2:4; All days are one, all 7 are 7000 years to end 49,000 as earth a focus for habitation John 17:5,24; Jesus was there at the beginning, Job 38:4-7; All the angels were there at the beginning when earth became a focus for habitation, perfect habitation, Jesus will cause that to be in his 1000 year reign.
All was perfect and had been for billions of years when earth became the focus and Adam was created 41,870 years into creation and left 7,130 years to 49,000 total.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made.
Gen 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven.
Gen 2:5 And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for Jehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth: and there was not a man to till the ground;
Gen 2:6 but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
Gen 2:7 And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
From Gen. 2:4, it is just basically repeating some of the things of creation week.

I did, you are incorrect. Adam was created on the sixth day. Both Gen.1 and 2 use the same Hebrew terms for man. If you could quote book, chapter and verse (from the Bible) to back up your claims, I would be most interested in reading it.

If you are reading from the Apocrypha...stop.
I think you must have your time line wrong. Go back, ready it a little slower and take your time.
If you want to get detailed, why don't the accounts of the angels at the empty tomb of Christ appear to match at first glance BUT THEY DO! In one account it is said there are two angels, but in another it says there was one. Maybe there were three. Maybe there were hundreds and only those documented could be SEEN by the men who wrote about it later. If you asked me who was at a party, and I said Joan was there, does that mean only Joan and I were there? NO it means Joan is the only person I know from the party, or maybe Joan is the only person I mention, because she was the only person there that You know. Maybe one of the angels was inside, and the other two were outside.
The Bible is an amazing, precious thing that relays God's Word to us directly. If something is unclear, it is not because God wanted it that way, or it was copied incorrectly (do you really think God could make the universe, but not oversee the correct delivery of his Word?) but because we have not taken the time to find out what we are reading.

I am a bible scholar and you are wrong.
Man was created on the sixth day. Genesis chapter one and chapter two are the same story told from two different view points and traditions. There are only six days to the creation story and the Sabbath, there is no "eighth day".
Go back and read it again!

Nowhere in the bible does it say that man was created on the eighth day. You must understand that the bible first gives an overview of events, and then goes into detail about those same events. Most books of the bible are in this partcular format; that is, that at the beginning of a book, it gives an overview. As the book progresses, the details of the events are given, and thus the reports of the events are repeated.

You are PRETTY OBSERVANT...
It does say that God created man and woman on the sixth. Then it says that God put Adam in the Garden of Eden after He rested on the 7th day. And then it shows God created EVE......
This implies a preexistance of men and women prior to thier placement upon the Earth.....
I would have to say that you should check out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They teach this....... I was Kinda caught off gaurd then i looked it up. You are correct.

That's what I've been saying ,for ever now! You will find that a story of Adam and eve being distorted by the whole church! They have not read it for them self! And many others, For instance if you know this good if not it will blow your mind! The apple that the devil tricked eve was not a piece of fruit, the forbidden fruit was sex. The devil had seduced her, the original word is ex patio, and means to wholly seduce, or lose your virginity. Now she gave birth to 2 sons one was Adams and the other was the devils. Cain was the first murderer and Jesus says you are of your father the devil and he was the first murderer! and those descendants are here today!do you know who they are?

According to the book of Genesis, Adam was created on the 6th day and God rested on the 7th day when he blessed and sanctified creation.
Jesus Christ (the new Adam) was crucified on the 6th day of the week and preached to the condemned souls in Hades on the 7th day - the day of rest (when he lay in the tomb). On the 8th day (or the first day of the new week), Christ rose from the dead.
