America is a democracy.
The Palestinians elected Hamas to lead them and are suffering as a result. Such is a price to pay for promoting democracy.
If Muslims became majority leaders in Parliament and decided to impose sharia law over the will of the populace, remember that we live in a democracy. You can always remove your political leaders, but be prepared to put up a fight.
Hope this never happens, but the possibility is there.

The western governments that have freedom of religion enshrined in law should allow anyone to follow their religious beliefs, providing they don't break the laws of the land. If they choose to follow sharia laws on their own or as dictated by their church, they should be allowed to with out hassle--again, providing these laws do not violate the laws of the land.
Muslims who demand sharia laws should be free to pursue that with lawmakers as they see fit. It is a citizen's right in a republic or democracy to change their government. It doesn't mean that the lawmakers should change the laws. It means that the lawmakers are duty bound, as public servants, to give the wishes of their constituents all due consideration and respect.
If Muslims have done their best to change the laws of the land to reflect their views and the lawmakers will not change them, then they have a choice to either accept that everyone else has a right to their own religious freedom and continue to abide by civil law or not to accept that and find another place that is more to their liking.
This isn't "giving in to their demands", in all actuality, it's allowing everyone the same access to the government and law-making.

NO!!
Can Muslims Be Good Americans?
Bigoted or not........just read and think and draw your own
conclusions. Can Muslims be Good Americans?
Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal
citizen? Consider this:
Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the
moon god of Arabia.Scripturally, no.Because his allegiance
is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran)
Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to
which he turns in prayer five times a day.Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him
to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically, no. Because he must submit to the
mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.Domestically, no, because he is instructed to marry four
women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys
him (Quran 4:34).
Religiously, no. Because no other religion is
accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Intellectually, no, because he cannot accept the American
Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he
believes the Bible to be corrupt.Philosophically, no, because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran
do not allow freedom of religion and __expression.
Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist.
Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually, no, because when we declare "one nation under
God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while
Allah is NEVER referred to as our heavenly father, nor is
he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we
should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this
country. They obviously cannot be both good Muslims and good
Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the
truth. If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with
the above, perhaps you will share this with your friends.
The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country.
The war is bigger than we know

My feeling is that everyone has their right to any religion they chose to follow. But consider the fact that they are in Western countries for a reason, what is it? If a muslim leaves his country, which I have to add there are very few muslims who are terrorist and hate America, he wants a better life but does not have to believe the way we do. That is his right. And consider this also, Western countries also have many religions, Catholic, Protestant, Pentecostal, Methodist. So yes they should allow everyone to practice their religion.

Absolutely not. I can't believe that a nation that is fighting over whether or not to display the Ten Commandments in public places could even consider Sharia laws!! Sharia laws are barbaric and cruel. Their treatment of women and children cannot be allowed in our society, unless we wish to face an enemy in our own homeland who will use his own children as a shield to hide behind...
Freedom of religion in this country does not mean the right to cruel and abusive treatment of others, and most especially, children.

Muslims infest every country and try and do take several of them over. That's how Islam got to where it is now.
Muslims will not take this country over until Tribulation. Islam will be the one world religion. That can have it, I won't be here :)
There is a reason, muslims move in every country. They are planting seeds for the end time.

Muslims shouldn't have the right to go anywhere and DEMAND anything, no one should.
If they come to a western country they should abide by the laws of that country, everybodyelse does. I mean, are we going to have different laws for every race or ethnitithnicy, that is rediculous.

Muslims (and anyone else, for that matter) should follow the laws of the county they're in. People can be as weird or primitive as they like as long as they aren't breaking any laws.

I think some people who posted on here forgot that we aren't talking about the United States!
No, they shouldn't, the governments need to keep the most freedom they can.
(Christians follow American laws, so why can't they obey their country's laws).
