The crusades, the Inquisition the horrors brought upon the the indigenous Americans? I am sure there were similar occurrences in Africa and Asia, too. Probably the only continent spared from the expansion of Christianity is Antarctica.

This is just something I've wondered... please don't be offended if there is anyone from the christian community on here. Why is it that all the christians I know or have ever met are right-wing, bigoted, judgemental and narrow minded? Think about it, surely all these are anti-christian sentiments? Could you imagine Jesus as having these characteristics? I doubt it. Anyway I just wondered... this is only in my personal experience, I'm NOT saying all christians are like this.

In many parts of the ME, they still have the same attitude about women, stone people, even dress similar, just like they did in biblical times.
Coincidence? ..or could it be the bible was just written by primitive Middle Eastern men (who by the way have not changed much over there).?

He doesn't carry a chip on his shoulder. Cool person with lots to talk about. Makes fun of his non associated Mexican heritage. We can have intellectual conversations without pointing blame on anyone or the USA. So hey, what gives. The USA system works, don't you see. So let's make Mexico the 51st state and assimilate the whole gaw darn country...

I am a white lesbian. My gf is asian american. She grew up here in the US. One of my friends asked me what she looks like. I said to my friend that she was "exotic". Is this disrespectful because she got upset that I didn't describe her in a dignified way?

I was just wondering that if the events in the New Testament concerning people accepting/refusing the mark of the beast does come to pass, and even though I am Pagan, refuse that mark because I know that it is evil and wrong, will I be accepted into the christian "heaven" or still face the purgatory that christians say we are headed to anyway?

( I do not mean no offense, this is a serious question)

`Uzair (Ezra) lived during the period around 450 B.C. The Jews regarded him with great reverence as the revivalist of their Scriptures which had been lost during their captivity in Babylon after the death of Prophet Solomon. So much so that they had lost all the knowledge of their Law, their traditions and of Hebrew, their national language. Then it was Ezra who re-wrote the Old Testament and revived the Law. That is why they used very exaggerated language in his reverence which misled some of the Jewish sects to make him 'the son of God'. The Quran, however, does not assert that all the Jews were unanimous in declaring Ezra as 'the son of God'. What it intends to say is that the perversion in the articles of faith of the Jews concerning Allah had degenerated to such an extent that there were some amongst them who considered Ezra as the
son of God.

If you don't believe that is ok, even if you hate the religion that is your choice. But why come on here and start bashing and judging? I may not like your religion or lack of religion, but I am not bashing you. If I have a question I will ask it in a respectful way. Do you people think your getting your point across by being so hateful?

Why or why not? Personally, I think it should be decriminalized - for those who give the same tired old argument about those women have serious issues, please - you can find people with some issues in every and any profession - like postal workers, for example, going "postal."

Also, don't forget to take into account the high class escorts. I am not talking about street girls.

Almost every time I reply to a question about bi girls in the GLBTQ area I have to first do away with the bisexual myths. So I was wondering which ones you have heard of, if any, and if you knew they were myths from the beginning or did you think they were true? Why so or why not? And do you know better now? Do you have any friends who are bi?
