I have heard many times people say that they wish religion was outlawed, or some people ask what would you do it religion was outlawed. So my question is the opposite. What would you do it having a religion was made the law. Doesn't matter what religion, you just have to have one. And if you followed the law, what religion would you choose and why?

I know it seems like a silly question but so is asking what would you do it religion was outlawed. I am not judging anyone, I just want to turn the tables here.

I'm on a religous topic binge today. And I was wondering what people of religions feel about the story behind the DaVinci Code, and the whole myth that Jesus had a child, and the family still exists.

I'm not going to argue any points, I would like clean, well thought and respectable answers.

I'm mostly just wondering what the big deal is.

but how do you know when or when not to take the Bible literally? Seriously I know that some parts are meant as parables and some are meant as full truths but how do you decide?

One of the other agnostics who uses this website and I have been emailing about an interest in going to a Christian Church just to see what we see and try and get some spiritual fulfillment out of it. I don't intend to wear a sackcloth praising Jesus but it would be I feel interesting to have something more than just books and internet for spiritual fulfillment.

So who is interested, we could rotate the religious ceremonies we go to, call it religion of the month club, then correspond about how it worked out for us spirituially.

So this month a Luthern Church, maybe next week a neo-pagan ceremony.

So the question here on yahoo answers is, to agnostics or spiritual atheists, who wants to take the Pepsi challenge tomorrow morning and go to a Luthern Church and see what we see and see if there is any spiritual fulfillment.

Or will they have to wait for Jesus to swing by on his way back to heaven?

Or will they simply be left behind for not living on the earth?

And what about the Christians living on the International Space Station? Will the Atheist living on the Space Station get a good view of the second coming?

Catholics have a good explanation for this, but the Protestant explanation is very weak and doesn't make sense.
