I mean really, since I've been dealt a pretty bad hand here on earth, I'm not sure hell is ready for me. I mean, I've adapted to being in pain, suffering internally, and being crippled. What does hell got on me? I'm in constant pain, I take pain killers, no woman will go near me due to my burns, and I'm in a wheelchair. Why does any god deserve my love? How could hell be any worse?

For all of you 'moral' good happy god people, ....survive a fire, lose the ability to walk, and look in the mirror and see you've become a hideous wreck, will you still love god then? will you perhaps shrug off hell as just a continuation of your life here?

I'm not scared of hell, i'm already there, bring it on!

It's like this. We were bestfriends and then it turned into bestfriends with benefits and then it turned into I dont know ... watever we have. All our friends thought we were secretly dating even when we were just friends so u can imagine how close we were. Anyway I really love him because he's the closest person in the world to me and I couldn't imagine not having him in my life friend or otherwise but sometimes I really hate his guts because he becomes such a patronizing, arrogant dick to me when we're in the company of other ppl (think "little wife" syndrome) which he never was when we were bestfriends and I would be fine with it if he backed it up by actually taking initiative or being u know more ...boyfriendly, towards me but he's such a p***y he would never stand up for himself much less me and it really hurts me because I think I deserve a guy who actually puts a little effort into being with me instead of someone who is using me for convenience sake... I dunno, your thoughts?

this is to all the people that insist on posting/asking in this section that are against GLBT indiviuals: Why bother, it's just going to upset us, thus cause us to report you, and then you'll be deleted from yahoo for hate speech. It's a waste of your time and ours. This section is for serious answers that aren't based out of genuine hatred for GLBT persons. You'd do yourself a great service to just disregard this section if you're so against it. So why are you still hanging around it?

I mean how many of them really have read the Bible or even really know the exact teachings of their religion? since there are so many different types and branches of it, are they sure they're following the right one?

If you read the answers in here from Christians when asked detailed questions, most of the answers are seriously 'winged' from the top of their head...stuff like ...

religious person: "if you believe hard enough and love jesus you can fly"

non-religious person: "Umm..no, I can't fly, it's just not physically possible, people can't jump off buildings and fly with the proper equipment"

religious person "Well, if you don't fly and fall, it is God's will, and you're not pure of heart"

non-religious person: "that was probably the biggest load of crap I've ever read, people can't fly ever, it's suicide"

religious person: "Suicide is bad, if you jump and want to die without Jesus's love you don't go to heaven"

non-religious person: "Are you on medication?

If you are married and your wife dies of natural causes, then you get re-married and your next wife dies of natural causes, will they both appear with you in heaven?

i take strong exception to the Christian dogma that "Jesus is the only begotten son, begotten not made". this is what the Christian is made to repeat from childhood in his catechism. I have asked learned - Christians, again and again as to what they are really trying to emphasize, when they say "begotten not made".

they know that according to their own God-given (?!) records, god has sons by the tons:


"....Adam, which was the son of god." Luke 3:38

"that the sons of god saw the daughters of men that they were fair...


"and when the sons of god came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them...." genesis 6:2&4

"...Israel is my son, even my firstborn:" exodus 4:22

"...for I (god) and a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn." Jeremiah 31:9

"...the lord hath said unto me, (David) thou art my son: this day have i begotten thee." psalms 2:7

"for as many as are led by the spirit of god, they are the sons of god." romans 8:1

I'm a Christian and I get absolutely angered at the self-righteousness that I see constantly online. It's one thing to know your right and live a life of faith...it's an entirely different thing to walk around with this "holier than thou" attitude and call yourself a Christian. I am of the opinion that those people are not "christian" but rather "religious." A person who is "Christian" is then "Christ-like." Christ was not pompous. He looked at the adulterous woman with love and compassion and said, "Woman, where are your accusers? Neither do I condemn you." If Christ, Himself, isn't condemning and we're supposed to live like Him...you get the drift. Now that I've preached - My Question: Am I the only one who is deciphering and clearly drawing a line between being "relgious" and "Christian?" Are others seeing this for what it is, though I'm sure it's been around forever? Let me know your thoughts.
