To some degree, yes. I don't want to downplay anyone who is sincere in that regard. But I do agree with your point. Its every where you look now, suggested on most sit-coms, or blatant. I don't have any issue with homosexuality, but I do feel like the media is portraying it as a fad to a great degree.

yes in a way, heterosexuality is the way to have the fashion with out the title of homosexual. But you have to look at the bottom line here. What is a fad? a fad is something that comes and goes, but when it comes it generates a lot of money. The fact is, is that gay men in particular have more money to spend, I.E. no kids. So the reason this fad has been here for awhile is because it's making ALOT of money, getting men to get out there and spend spend spend. before men had no sense of what fashion was, now there concerned what salon can do there hair best. But the bottom line is money, when people loose interest and stop spending, the fad will end

Well since it has been around since the beginning of time it cannot be classified as a fad, a fad is a trend that wont last, homosexuality will. The media has only widened our knowledge of homosexuality and made it more acceptable for ppl to come out of the closet without fear, sure it may be deemed as fashionable but i doubt it has ever encouraged any straight guys to sleep with other men.

No, I don't think it's a fad because being homosexual is not like joining a club, getting a haircut, or buying a fashionable pair of shoes. What is happening now is that people are more open about discussing homosexuality, and homosexuals are coming out of the closet and into your living room through television.

It would take more than a fad to get me to switch teams.

yep. Without the media, there wouldn't be as many fags (sorry). It's really odd, because without heterosexuality, they wouldn't be around. I just don't get it.
