especially with homophobic parents?.... who pretend said person hasn't said anything? or that its a phase? .. or with unaccepting friends?.. or would it be easier to just say... 'i'm straight'.. especially when you work with kids? and leaders.. dissapprove.. and tell said person to deny rumours..

true this is my life and i can do anything with it. At the this time i am a nineteen year old female and i am wondering. What should i do with my life. In my enviorment a lot of people my age are dying or having kids and some few are actually getting married pretty young. I wanna make a impact on this world. what should i do to make a impact?

A teacher at my community college has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, which has proven to be a very aggressive cancer for her. Her chemotherapy treatments are making her very sick, even up to 3 and 4 days at a time (and then it's back for another treatment). She has an 18 year of daughter that she is trying to support, even though she has been unable to work in several months. Her daughter's car is messed up and since she has been unable to work, cannot afford to have it fixed or help the daughter out with getting insurance after it is fixed (she can't even afford to put her daughter on her insurance policy). Her ex-husband is a deadbeat alcoholic dad who isn't even trying to help them.

Please, everyone regardless of spiritual beliefs, pray for this sweet lady and her daughter.

Why wasnt anyone allowed to make any noise when he and Katie's Holmes baby was born until 24 hours after the baby was born? I know this is related to their beliefs but why is it that they wanted it that way?

Hey fellow christians.i am worried..i have seen how some of us are trying to present God's word to others and it frightens me! I have noticed (being human and imperfect) we let anger & definsivness get in the way and that can damage our witness thus the 1'st part of proverbs states Proverbs 15:17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly..and Ephisians 4:26 tells us to be angry and sin not! Ephisians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers..by pushing our views on people we are pushing them away and doing wrong.God tells us in his word to plant the seed in other minds.in other words he tells us to present the word.now he didn't say to plant it then try to make it grow!.we are simply the sowers and God takes care of the rest.also remeber that our Lord won us over through love not anger or hate...

Actually shouldn't one believe that a follower of a certain religious faith is probably more aware of what they believe than another outside that faith? I would and do. I would also say that to take answers from someone who left that faith is a lot like taking a reference concerning a job from a disgruntled employee.

I've been on this answers page a few times and every day there's at least one question with a female saying "why are men such pigs". Women can be just as nasty and vindictive as any guy I know, but why does the opposite sex feel that they have to ask pointless questions like that? This is strictly limited to Yahoo Answers as I haven't heard half as many complain in offline life and I know quite a few women.

Why are all the popular rap songs completely ridiculous?? Is it really that cool to be promiscuous? White T-Shirts are cheap, why are they so cool? Grills make you look like an idiot, why even admit to wearing one, much less, write a song about it? It is not cool to cheat on your partner, have sex with everything that has opposite parts than you, or talk like a complete idiot with no grasp of the English language. This may be why many of the kids today are lazy, have loose morals, and have a diminishing sense of what is truly valuable in life.
