. I love the way consumption of resources is a right, not a privilege
. I love the way homeless people are left on the streets to rot
. I love the way guns don’t kill people, people with guns kill people
. I love the way our president struggles with the English Language
. I love the way we think we are the best country, but we know nothing of other countries
. I love the way obese people are just ‘heavy’ and gluttony isn’t a sin
. I love the way foreigners are viewed as a burden, but we see no harm in employing them at $4 per hour.
. I love the way black people are demonized by the media and marginalized in ghettos
. I love the way our wars are about righteousness, not profit
. I love the way we jail a shop lifter, but slap the wrist of a corporate thief
. I love the way we trust the media, but don’t trust our next door neighbour
. I love the way half of all marriages end in divorce
. I love the way Christianity has more influence over policy than logic
. I love the way criticism of our country is considered un-patriotic

Why do muslim extremists not like women?
Why are women and children treated as less of human beings? Why are women in Iraq afraid to drive their car alone for fear they will be attacked. Why force women to wear a burka? I do not understand, I know Allah loves women, right? Help me to understand...

Duh - even David Koresh has HIS followers. Today my husband & I were walking downtown and were approached by some Mormons talking about him. I've never HEARD of them getting in your face that way, but soon this car pulled up and talked to them. I heard part of the converstaion 'that's antoher Bible' or somthing to that effect, and the ppl in the car gave the guys some tracts and they guys left. Didn't want to talk to us anymore. Maybe becuase we KNOW the truth of the Bible?

It says in the Bible that Jewish people of Israel are God's chosen people, or something like that, yet they don't believe in Jesus. I have always heard this and read it somewhere also.

When i start speaking, they say they think i'm japanese, and they start asking if im a japanese person. But i'm not even good as say 1st generation Japanese americans..or tons of others that go to japan. I have never gone to japan, never meet any japanese people, i just talk to myself in my room to practice. Why then are they surprised to hear a very bad japanese speaker( me), when there's a bunch of foreigners who REALLY are good and fluent? Is it that some of Japanese people haven't experience foreigners who are good at japanese? In fact sometimes they tell me that they meet Americans, but that all of them have an accent. But according to them i don't. Let me tell you about my style: I know well the basics, know enough words and the things i know i speak fluently, but i'm missing so much vocab that i don't know,, and if it's starts getting into some kind of deep conversation about business, politics, literature, etc i'm like a total novice and i don't know anything..

I heard that he was black, brown or white. Someone as famous as Jesus surely would have been accurately described. When I took a tour of the Morman grounds just about everybody was white in the portraits of people from the middle-east at the time of Christ. Is it just me being skeptical?

I speak as an 'Englishman'. Why is their ambition, intellect, open-mindedness and warmth often so small? Why are we regarded as animal lovers when we have massive cases of animal cruelty? Why are we regarded as a youthful, trendy country when we have one of the oldest populations in Europe? Why are we so incompetent in nearly everything we try to do? Why are we always proud of it? Why do we cheer the loser when we should be encouraging winners? Why are we so pathetic?

I mean if we don't want them to ask questions then maybe we should not have "grown up" conversations around them all the time. I realize that sometimes it can get on our nerves but how the heck are they suppossed to learn if they don't ask?

I personally don't get why people are racist. If someone is an idiot, they are an idiot because of their upbringing and social background, not because of their colour.
Those who strap bombs to their waste and want to wipe out the jews/christians aren't like that because they are middle eastern, they're like that because it's what they have been taught.

When I see someone, black, white, pink, yellow, blue, orange it doesn't make a jot of difference to me...

I went to Kenya and they must have been the friendliest people I've ever met - them and the Fijians (who are black and Indian).

Africa is the cradle of life - it's where it all began!
