What do you think about this stament made by C.S. Lewis?

I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God." That is the one thing we must not say. A man who said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic--on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg--or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.

It's gotten to the point where I cannot shop at supermarkets because fools ruin my food-buying experience.
Aisle Cloggers park their carriages in the center of an aisle and then STOP. They take their sweet time looking to see if one brand of peas is 8 cents cheaper than another, oblivious to the fact that shoppers behind them cannot get by.

Even worse is an encounter with Bottleneckers-- you know, two people who see someone they know in an aisle, and again STOP in their tracks and proceed to gab for 20 minutes, heedless of the fact they've effectively set up a roadblock for that entire aisle.

Shoppers, Not Lookers are dire prats who speed out from the end of an aisle into the main lane without first looking to see if anyone is there. I've been broadsided by such fools more times than I care to tell you.

And don't forget Mr. and Mrs. "I'm in line for the register and there are twenty people behind me, but I'm going to run back to aisle 11 and grab those Cheerios on sale."

ok. i'm 25, and i still don't feel like an "adult". i have all the traditional adult responsibilities, but see being "grown up" as so far away! Is it because it is hard to see yourself in the present?

any ideas?

As a Catholic, it certainly didn't dent my faith, it only served to reinforce it. What a load of rubbish. Brown certainly hasn't done his homework and the book is an insult to intelligent people.

Why are people so slow to understand that there is more than one form of Catholicism - the Roman Catholics do not have a monopoly on that word - and that the very word "catholic" comes from a Greek word that means "universal"?

Does anyone know any of this??

I mean, seriously, it's a mythology, not real, no end of times judgement day, no Noah's Ark, no Moses parting the sea, it's all some good imagination of a good writer for the time, but 'absolutely true'....yea, maybe if you're on acid and shrooms at the same time ( i am )

is it because both religions actually have a lot in common, both in their teachings, practices and in their roots...
or is it mostly geographical...
or is it the burdens of history which both faiths seem unable to shrug off...
or is it something else..

My friend had a discussion with a teacher who claimed that Bisexuals are just people who are still confused or just greedy or just undecided etc. I dont know what to think after a science magazine claimed to have proven the unexistance of bisexuality- what do you think?

The true teachings and virtues of any Religion is reflected on their followers...True or False? Imagine teaching about Peace, Harmony and Kindness... and next you know, any connection you see of that faith is mostly associated with Violence in the name of divine and Holier than Thouness. If the Majority of the global followers are mostly reactting the negative way, isnt that because the teachings are not fully understood or the Holy Priest/ministre had been preaching nonsense? thk you
