Not within the last month or so...
we might as well be next to hell!
but usually The Coast L.A. is nice...
not East L.A....homes or South Central L.A (errr. excuse me, South L.A.), they might as well be in the I.E.
but the best weather is OC, SD, Santa Barbara... and if u like it cooler, the Bay Area... The City was cold last time i was there.

It depends. In places where it is not by the ocean (i.e. the Valley), the weather sucks. It's very hot and humid. Plus, all the smog and pollution just makes it even worse.
Thank goodness I am lucky enough to live by the ocean, though. The weather never gets into the 90s or 100s. The ocean keeps us just cool enough, so that most days are nice and balmy, not too hot.

I'm in Orange County...air quality is better here (and further south in San Diego, better still). But yes, great weather.
Except of course that we've all been broiling with 90+ degrees heat for awhile......

well, i was in san fran a few weeks ago, and yes...the weather there was the best! its a hell of a lot better than the heat, humidity, and constant rain of philadelphia.
