It says in the Bible that Jewish people of Israel are God's chosen people, or something like that, yet they don't believe in Jesus. I have always heard this and read it somewhere also.

Since the Bible is a Hebrew text, then the Hebrews are the chosen people. If the Bible had been written by the French, then they would have been the chosen people.

The choice to view Jesus as the messiah was made by a sect of Jews after his death. Christianity is just an offshoot of Judaism, and most Jews today believe that the Messiah is yet to be born.

Be open to new ideas, just because something was written a long time ago, doesn't make it real. It just makes it hard to prove or disprove.

You're absolutely correct. They were, are, and will always be, the chosen people of God.

God sent Jesus first to the lost sheep of Israel. When (most of them) rejected Him, the gospel was then given to the gentiles. As the bible says, "the stone that the builders rejected (Jesus) has become the capstone".

There will come a time when the blinders will be removed from the Jewish people and they will "look upon Him who was slain", and know Him for their Messiah. Happily, some Jewish people do believe in Jesus as Messiah now. Messianic, or completed Jews. What happy people these must be.

Still, without confessing the Lord Jesus as savior, Jewish people will not be saved.

I think they're great people and they are Jews who have turned to the lord Jesus Christ as a personal Savior and, of course, in the Old Testament, He is called Messiah, so they have the label of Messianic because they are looking for the coming of Messiah in the very near future. And that's what I’ve been talking about. This ridiculous thing called replacement theology where God is through with the Jews forever. That's not so.

The bible teaches in Romans chapters 9 to 11 the Jews past, chapter 9, the Jews present, chapter 10, and the Jews future, chapter 11. And when messiah comes, chapter 11, verse 26 says: “all Israel shall be saved, for there shall come out of Zion, out of Jerusalem a deliverer who shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob”.

Who is Jacob? Jacob changed his name to Israel, 2 Kings 17:34. And when Messiah comes, He opens their blinded eyes and all Judaism, all Israel comes to Jesus Christ. I'm for the messianic Jews.

The Jews are Gods chosen people and God included them in unbelief
so the gentiles could be saved. When the last person that can be saved
Jew or Gentile during this GRACE PERIOD is saved.God will usher back
in the KINGDOM AGE then he will start back working with the Jews
again and all true Jews will be saved [during the Great Tribulation].

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Jew or gentile please come to Jesus Christ the time is short I believe.
Come quickly Lord Jesus!!
In Christ in Love,

Your question is based on two faulty premises.
Firstly, you assume that the chosenness of the Jewish people is contingent upon something. In truth- it is not contingent upon anything. Deut. 7:6-8 says :
"For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be His own treasure, out of all peoples that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people--for ye were the fewest of all peoples-- but because the LORD loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt."
Additionally, the Bible is replete with references to the fact that G-d will never break his convenant with the Jewish people nor throw them away nor become utterly disgusted with them (the biblical quotations to this effect are too numerous to reference herein- the bible is replete with statements to this effect).
The second faulty premise upon which your question is based, is the premise that the Jews should believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus' credentials for messiahship have already been examined by some of the other answers- which have clearly shown that he doesn't qualify. The internet is already replete with information on this point as well. There is no new information that I can add regarding this issue. Additionally, all the claims made by Christianity and the New Tesament, claims of jesus' fulffilling "Old Testament" prophecies about the messiah and his comming are completely fabricated. Again, the internet is replete with information on this topic and there is nothing new that I can add to this second point.
Now since jesus didn't fullfill any of the requirements for messiaship, and since the prophecies regarding him are all fabrications, then belief in Jesus as The Messiah is contrary to G-d. Now certainly G-d would not fault anyone for not believing in something which is contrary to Him; rather, the opposite is true- G-d may fault someone for believeing in that which is contrary to him. As such neither the Jews, nor anyone else, should believe that Jesus is the messiah.

And since when is belief in Jesus a requirement for one to be G-d's chosen people?
It doesn't say anything about Jesus anywhere in the Bible...

...the Jewish one, that is.

Because they believe strongly in the old testament where God was speaking directly to the Prophets. This was also where God vow that Israel will be his Treasured Possesion. Jesus the Messiah appeared only in the New Testament revealing himself to the people.

The Jews are subject to the commandments. Jesus was sent to save the gentiles--or the rest of us. All of the Jews, God's chosen people, will be restored when He returns. The gentiles must choose to be saved in order to go to heaven and come back with Jesus when he returns.
