I personally don't get why people are racist. If someone is an idiot, they are an idiot because of their upbringing and social background, not because of their colour.
Those who strap bombs to their waste and want to wipe out the jews/christians aren't like that because they are middle eastern, they're like that because it's what they have been taught.

When I see someone, black, white, pink, yellow, blue, orange it doesn't make a jot of difference to me...

I went to Kenya and they must have been the friendliest people I've ever met - them and the Fijians (who are black and Indian).

Africa is the cradle of life - it's where it all began!

I personally don't understand racists. My best friend of 25 years is someone who I can trust with anything, he also happens to be black. I find racisim in this country today frankly disturbing and upsetting. No matter the colour of our skin, we all bleed red when struck

racism is a term that needs to have more meaning to it. I get called a racist each and every day in my line of work, just because I happen to be white. I may tell someone to do something, and if he doesnt like what assignment I assign him or her, they cry racism.
a true racist will go out of thier way to make life hard for others not of thier race.
I am a white person. I agree that we all have the same right to live here in america, and share all the same freedoms this country has to offer. be it black, brown, yellow, red, white, or any other color.
treat others as you would want to be treated, thats what I do, and I have noticed I get along with all races.

I'm not racist, but I guess I am a culturist, and by this I mean I don't care where a persons roots are or what colour his skin is, but if his culture has certain aspects that I as an enlightened individual object to then I defend the right to hold that objection. I object, for instance, to the way women are routinely treated in islamic countries, I object to religious brainwashing by bigots in any culture, I object to female circumcision as a means to keeping women faithful by destroying any prospect of them having sexual pleasure. I object to people who preach against contraception in an overcrowded world. I object to cultures which against all scientific reason and evidence teach creationism to their children in school. I could go on forever, so call me racist if you want, but I'm not, I'm culturist.

I understand racists. It doesn't mean I agree with them, but I understand them. They have to blame someone for societal woes, so they choose to blame those of different races. They need a reason that certain cultures act differently, they choose to blame it on race. It's an easy excuse for hating things rather than working to make it better.

Forget racism, it's too emotional for rational thought. Let's discuss school bullies. School bullies are persons who know they personally are inferior, under achievers. The only way they can feel good about themselves is to belittle those around them. If the bully can't rise to a good level, he will try to lower those around him to beneath his level. In this way he can pretend to be superior. Now let's discuss racism.

Not ever tiger is a man-eater.
Even a man-eating tiger isn't hungry all the time.
Still, when you see a tiger walking toward you on the sidewalk, you cross to the other side.

Yep kenyans rock, i love them too, but people are conditioned by their social surroundings, young kenyans hate whites because they have been conditioned by those in the post kenyatta era.

I can understand their fear, and even how their upbringing would cause them to inherit racist behaviours. What I can't understand is their cruel / violent behaviour, and their tendency to generalise.
