A lot of Christians and other anti-Islam types post passages from the Koran that invlove killing people who don't follow Islam. But have these people read their own Bible? Because this, among many other examples of very non-Christian behavior, is what I found when I did.

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, "You shall not live, because you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord." When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall thrust him through. (Zechariah 13:3 NAB)

I have many, many more. Why do people who say the Koran is full of hate not seem to know about this?

I'm an American teenager and I love this country like no other because it gives me safety and education! I'd love to travel to foreign countries but I'm afraid they would shun me just because I'm American! Why has the world turned against America? We certainly haven't turned against the rest of the world! Americans hold a lot of respect for foreigners, more than you would think. Why else would we all travel so much?!

Is this not what the gay community consistantly preaches to the rest of society about? Tolerance? Understanding? Gees....you guys are really begining to wear this anger label on your sleeves.

ok, i was just wondering if any of you (homosexuals) think that the bible says nothing about homosexuality being wrong?

i'm not trying to put anyone down or hurt or be insulting, but the bible in fact does say in Passage 1 Corinthians 6: Verse 9:

"Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality"

sure, the bible never says anything about how being gay is wrong, but engaging in homosexual acts is clearly wrong according to this

i'm sorry to say this, but i hate to see the bible be misunderstood

who knows? maybe God did make gay people how they are as a test to see if they could abstain from homosexual acts

please no rude comments. i was a nice as possible while still giving out my point.

I found this passage as an example of something I thought was a sample of the weird things said in the Koran:

Cow 2.191: "And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers."

What else does the Koran say?

For non-Christians, how many of you play Dungeons and Dragons? Do you feel the old "OMG TEY JUMPED OFF ROOF CAUSE CHARACTER DIED! Oh and demons" arguement has added to the game by generating hype, or limited the production of the game? Is the religious movement related towards TSRs downfall?

And what type of character do you play? What edition? What's your HP? What's your best looking die like?

And, just to be weird: anyone a dungeons and dragons player that actually DOES think it's evil?
