I think it means that attitude is more important than physical appearance. I'm not sure I agree with that but I do think that eroticism is much more attitude than physical appearance. I have seen some rather homely women who were mind blowingly erotic because they had a seductive attitude that made my knees buckle. Fortunately I married the best of all worlds.

U`t means just because someones looks are pretty doesn`t mean their pretty inside.And we all know when you get to know someone and you`ve thought they were good looking and then the true self comes through they don`t look pretty anymore.Pretty is as pretty does.

If your pretty, but act vain, no one will like you. If your ugly, but kind, and nice, and etc., people will like you despite how you look. Basicly it's the same as "Beauty is only skin deep"
