That is so unfair, such a double standard. A nipple is a nipple.

I know. why can't we go without a shirt on?

why can't we be just as free to do what we want as men?

I want you stop and really think about this for a moment - you're 25 - they're nice and firm, looks great and attractive - male or female. Two kids later at age 35 - you've both put on a few pounds, you chose to breast feed and those size B's have become C+'s and they are now a little lower than mid way down your rib cage - that's why you wear the support bra and his are a little fuller and looks like he could use a bra. Ten years later, a few more American pounds, one more kid - C+ has become a sag at the base of the rib cage and his really attractive 25 year old nipples that just drove him crazy for you to lick on - are now not much smaller than yours - they just don't sag. And you want to know why public shirtlessness should be considered no more than a nipple is a nipple? I'm sorry pick up a National Geographic magazine and tell me that you would really want American women to walk around with the same freedom of expression that some other countries have. It doesn't really make for a pretty picture.

Coz if yous go topless then there will be soooo many car accidents!!! And no a mans nipple does not even come close to a womans nipple, both in looks and use.

I don't think either should be without a shirt in public. However, it's society's standards that dictate what people "should" wear. For example, women weren't allowed to wear pants in the 1900's, but now we wear pants and shorts all the time. Unfortunatly, in a few more years, it probably will be accepted to not wear a shirt in public.

Because men can't control themselves when in the repeated presence of the things they want most to feel, hold, touch, etc., and society would break down totally if all those poor horndogs were continually stimulated by such temptation.

Right on Sister! I've been praying for someone to bring this up!

I totally agree about the bias. Women should be allowed to go shirtless by all means

How come girls can wear make up but guys can't?

They can cover up their imperfections, while we are stuck with our zits, scars, razor burns, and moles. That is so unfair, such a double standard. A stupid question is a stupid question.

right-on!!!...a thing of beauty is a joy forever!...I've been specifically researching (a lifelong undertaking now) into the wonderful backdrop that a woman's nipples have...why, after the 'burning bras' of the 60s/70s, there's been nothing much to cheer... n besides alotta us are bored jst locking lips in the public...abt time we take the bar higher

...err, so where do you live again?

...haha,jst kidding...thanx for the wonderful ideas though...I jst got to know (thru here) that I may have to pay a quick visit to Toronto this weekend!!!

I agree it is unfair and a double standard,,, let's change that. I wouldnt mind if women went without shirts,, and no it isnt a sexual thing,,, at least no more than it would be sexual for women to see a guy without a shirt

Guys don't eject anything from their chest. Guys can't hide stuff in their chest. Guys chests aren't really that attractive. Still, guys with fat upper-chests should cover up. Also, it could be used for arousal. A girl can shake her chest, but a guy can't really do that............Still, I hate for women to feel its unfair. Is a simple piece of tape over the main part of the breast legal?
