"But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ," (1 Cor. 11:3).


The headship issue is an issue of order, not of who is better or more important. The husband is the head of the wife in the family and he has the responsibility of guiding his family to a closer relationship with the Lord.


Some of you really take this out of context because the scripture OBVIOUSLY isn't giving a man the right to say "Do what I say or else." Who agrees? Disagrees?

What do you think? something strange.
（In the morning ）　means every moning, so that sentence implies, she had a habit of waking up in the morning in the past.
She doesn't wake up in the morning now.

I think, Did she have to get up early this morning? or Did she have to get up early in the morning yersterday?

What do you think?

Can I say: in the morning yestaday? or yesterday's moning?

I'm a stay-at-home-mom who moved into a new (wonderful) neighborhood. I just met a few of the other mom's in the area and right off one asked me to join her bible study that will start in a few weeks. I feel really awkward about this because I haven't mentioned I'm not Christian (I usually don't talk about my religious beliefs with people I don't know very well) and now that she's mentioned it again I know next time I'll need a response !
She's best friends with my next door neighbor, has children the same age as mine, and has been really great to chat with and invited me to many other outings. But what do I do or say? She and her friends are the first women I have met here and I am worried that if I say I am not Christian I won't have the chance to become better friends...or they will try to "save" me. I have to give some kind of reason for why I won't be going. Or am I worried for nothing and should go and check it out?

If God was a time based being that had an expiration, would that change your views toward him knowing he would be gone eventually.

I ask it since a lot of questions here seem to ask who created God. Those questions indicate for him to be created he is bound by time as we are, since he would have a beginning. However if he created time himself these questions would be mute and hypothetical.

as a born raised and bar Mitzvahd Jew -at 13 i was given a copy of our Jewish scriptures and i found out that from adam and eve-a blood sacrifice was given to cover sins-God slew an animal and covered them with its skin. Abraham went to sacrifice his son (who had sins so it was rejected)but God said i will provide myself a sacrifice for your sins-and there was a ram for the time being sacrifice
Moses the one that is the leader of Judaism to point us to Jesus-was banned from entering Israel for his sin, yet he spoke of the need for blood atonement "The life of the flesh is in the blood and i have given it to make atonement for your sins." Isaiah said "He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man and lay down his life an atonement for our sins" Isaiah chapters 52 vs 13-53 vs 12. so i believed it and read what our Messiah said-that he knocks on each heart to come in, deliver from sin, and be our friend-Revelation 3 vs 19&20
now life is wonderfull being a full Jew thanks!

I noticed this on someone else's question:

"If God used evolution, then he would be a cruel, selfish, and uses death to create life. I wouldn't want to worship a God who never gets it right on the first try."

So, the reason for their not believing in evolution is that it makes god look like a bastard? Is that right? Is that what is keeping them from believing in it?
No wonder why you can't use logic to debate with them. They don't use logic to come to conclusions on their own.

You can call me racist or whatever you want, I'm just a 16 year old fiesty redhead with an attitude. This rant is about certain blacks, i'm not generalizing on all blacks just some who i like to call ghetto rats. First things first, the word N igga or N igger, offensive isn't it. Well stop using it, i hate how these ghetto rats use it so loosely when speaking to each other but the minute a non black uses it they are extremely offended. Just like that teacher who used it while talking to one of his students, he didn't mean disrespect. He was just using it in the same context the student used it while talking to his friends. It seemed fine when he was using it with his friends but the minute the "white" teacher used it he was offended and psychologically scarred. The teacher got suspended and had to take tolerance classes. Here's a simpler solution, stop using the damn word and then maybe it'll fade into exsistance. Any comments?
