LOL ...
Good question.
Think of this question though: Do women work harder to impress their man before they get married or after they get married? The answer to your question and this one are pretty similar, if not identical.
Males and females work harder in the early stages of a relationship. First, it's a new relationship and you haven't seen all the flaws in your partner and your in that 'head over heels' part of the relationship.
Then, once your feet are back on the ground, you realize that relationships that are long-term require actual work, and you cannot hide your flaws for an extended period of time.
It goes both ways.
Now, you'll have to excuse my married @ss since I have to go outside and do some yardwork before my wife gets home.

The world is full of variety, there is no single description for all men n all women, each one's unique, however, till dating it's bit casual but after marriage a woman can't expect his man to act lover boy all the time, after marraige there are some responsibilities, but couples can work-out and find time for themselves to enjoy alone.

YES....my husband is that way...he used to do a lot around the house (leaky faucets, patch a hole, and various other maintenence related things). He would even wash dishes, or vacuum/sweep, etc. Now...if I ask him to help me out a little, he will 1/2 A$$ do it so that I have to RE-do it, and won't ever ask him to do it again. He even admits to it. He will tell me flat out that he purposely does a crappy job at something b/c he doesn't want to have to do it again.

Sounds like the male version of the female, being everything he wants until they are married. Then nothing.
Reminds me of the cartoon with a couple waling down the aisle to get married, his thought balloon says, 'Great, I'll never have to beg for sex again' and her thought balloon says, 'Great, I'll never have to have sex again'

LOL! very funny..... um, I forgot what I was going to say here. Oh, wait I remember, I think it comes with age, when we are finished with college and settle down, we dont try as hard as we use to......generally speaking. And maybe something about Heriditary Memory Lose has something to do with it too, but who knows.

I think this is true of some but not all and i think girls are just as guilty of it. It is a put on your best face when dating but relaxing after marriage.
Good Luck to You and God Bless!!

Not always the case.... I make more of an effort with my wife in marriage than when we were dating, because I take it a lot more seriously.

I think that they do. It doesn't even have to be after marriage. Some guys will change on you after being together for awhile and some even after sex.

what seem to be" to be to good to be true" is most likely not true. if kids are involved guys will suck up to the kids until they get you then treat them like crap later. if they do house work now they won't after marriage.

Most is true. He probably ask'd his Dad how to do it.
Of course he tried to impress !!! But give 'em a break, there are more "Honey do" things on his list now, I suspect.
