To create a universe and all within it is a great MAGICAL feat.To perform miracles is magic.To SEND forth "his" seed to make a virgin pregnant through spiritual means is MAGIC in every sense of the word...So why did they KILL in Salem,when they suspected people to be witches?The words Saddistic Fools come to my mind when I consider the murderous and vengeful mindset of Christians.Why are they like that?And dont try to tell me they arent.Israel is GOD's "CHOSEN",and they kill in the name of their religion.And none of them can dispute what is history in Salem..

To anyone who answered my last question as "Hell" I am very sad for you. Please, consider fallowing Jesus. And just because you are a person who does good things, doesn't mean that you are going to heaven. You have to be on fire for the Lord your God, and know him and his word. The wrath of God is hell, and trust me, that place is horrible beyond measure. But always remember that God loves you and wants you to fallow him. God can forgive all your sins, and you can be clean. There is no sin that God cannot forgive, that is his promise. And there is no person who hasn't sinned. It says in the bible "All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God." Please take my advice, you don't want to go to hell.

If Jesus is the Messiah, then isn't Christianity really just an extension of Judaism?

Is he 100% God, or
is he 100% human, or
is he some mixture of both?

In history, this question has divided the church in half at least twice. Dispute over this is why the Oriental Orthodox churches (Syrian, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Persian etc) split with the Roman Catholics around the 4th century, and why the Eastern Orthodox Churches (Greek, Russian, Serbian etc) (over half of Christians) split with the Roman Catholic Church just a thousand years ago.

Obviously, this is an important question if it's answer can split Christianity in half twice.

Where do you stand on this issue? They say the fate of your eternal soul is in the balance whether you stand on God's side or Satan's side of this issue.

I'ld like to know what a persons sexuality has to do with the buying, selling, driving, owning, or building or advertising of cars ?
It might help ( but is not neccesary ) for me to understand your answers if you could state wether you are GLBT or not.

I think the boycott attempt is extremely hippocritical but I would like your honest answers and opinions.

I don't know whether you are actually Jewish or not, but I do know that you are a Christian. I also know that you post the same "question" -- which is comprised of standard christian "proof-texts" -- repeatedly.

If your question was sincere I would have no problem, but it is clear from your posting patterns that your questions are merely a cheap decoy to missionize and spread the idea to Jews to convert to christianity (which is, by defintion, anyone who believes jesus was the messiah).

I object to your deceptive methods of missionizing. I feel it insults the teachings of G-d, whether one is Jewish or Christian. (For example, II Corinthians 4:2, I Peter 2:1, Psalm 34:14 speak about honesty and not using deceitful ways.)

If you're going to missionize, at least be honest about it.

On the side: For those who are actually interested in a Jewish perspective on the so-called "proof-texts", I recommend visting www.JewsForJudaism.org

No offense has been intended.

I posted a couple of what I thought would be funny posts the other day with a Christian theme and was amazed to see how serious they were taken. It was supposed to be light and humorous and well, it wasn't received that way. Okay, so I will no longer make posts like that. I'm new to Yahoo! Answers and the religion category in particular so since then I did a good amount of reading of posts in this category and I'm wondering, why are so many people baiting the religious ones? It seems cruel. They believe what they are going to believe and NOTHING is going to change their minds. Not proof, not facts, certainly not insults or opinions. Almost seems like beating a dog that's tied up. What's the appeal in your opinion?

I was born into a Christian home like millions of people out there. Ever wonder about those that are born into a Jewish home, or a muslim home, or a buddhist home....All are equally devoted to their religion and believe that THEIR religion is the correct religiong. It's a puzzling thought.

I received a letter a few days back telling me about my cycle of wealth, etc. which is supposed to begin in a few days. And to send him some money to do a reading or something.

Just yesterday I was watching some program on the television about Psychics and the general impression I got was they were fake.

I would be interested to know if anybody has ever come in contact with this Psychic and what have been their impressions about him.
