God is a god... He doesn't need magic... he just needs to think something and it will be done...
How can you not know the differenct between a god and humans... a god is a god... a god is all powerful...
besides... God never claims to be a magician.... I don't know where you are getting that from...

Aleister Crowley, a man involved in the occult, claimed to have channeled a book called "the book of the law." It focused on a new era of spirituality governed by the Egyptian God Horus. From this work, Crowley established the first group of modern witches. It wasn't until recently that Wicca took formation as a loosely based system, mainly from the works of Gerald Gardner who formed the Wiccan tradition known as Gardnerian Wicca. Through Gardner the idea of the God and goddess were "solidified" and Wicca became a religious movement.
Wicca is now growing: “scholars have estimated that Wicca is the second-fastest-growing religion in the United States.”2
The God of the wiccans is also known as Pan or the "The Horned God" also the goat of Mendes, when you see rockers make the horned hand gesture it's in reference to him because it's anarchy or to rebel against the christians. All power comes from the christian God he created all Angels when there was the war in heaven 2/3 of heavens angels fell with the devil, the angels that fell with devil became demons but they are arrogant and like to be worshipped as gods. If you worship them they will give your power but in return you must give them your soul.

Seems to me that you just lumped all Christians together in one category, just as you are accusing them of doing to you. A pattern is beginning to emerge here.
I am a Christian, by the way, and I do understand what you are trying to say about what you call magic and I call power. I have a friend who is Wiccan, we both believe in the same God/dess, and we both pray for one another in our own ways. That's not a problem for you, I hope?
I think alot has to do with where that power comes from, and how you use it. The words "Sadistic Fools" also comes to my mind when I think of some idiot using his/her knowledge to harm other people, or their property, and yes, some Wiccans do that.
(A group of young "Wiccan wannabees in my Mom's neighborhood decided they'd get rid of all the Christians living on "their street". The result was several kids arrested for digging in an Indian graveyard...evidently they needed dirt from an Indian grave for this ritual...and alot of angry people with graveyard dirt around their doorways. Nobody moved, though. I just thought it was rather silly.)
In the long run Christians and Wiccans actually have more in common than otherwise. Wouldn't it be better if we could put the differences aside, and just get along?

Because it is human nature to put down what is not readily understood. Most Christians don't understand that All their beloved holidays derive from Pagan/Wiccan Sabbaths. And for some just trying to tell them that is slander, because they don't understand the true down to earth good hearted nature of most in the pagan's in the community(at least the ones who take their practices seriously).
The ones who kill in the name of their GOD,are in need of a psychiatrist."Thou shall not kill" says it all no matter what religion a person chooses to follow.
As for Salem......in history it was a group of young girls making false accusations, either for attention or from eating to much moldy rye bread.Either way what they did was wrong.
And I do agree with your views on GOD being a grand magician..to create the universe and all the creatures in it,WOW!

People will argue about any "higher power" that's got a different title than theirs. Fear of the unfamiliar and a little bit the need to be right. Just my opinion. It's like everyone compares a 6 to two 3's... is there REALLY a difference?

FEAR... pure and simple fear. They don't understand the healing powers of folk magick and the like. Heck, prayer is a form of spellwork... Christs supposed miracles were works of magick.
Christians are afraid to look beyond their brainwashing and see the world for what it is. Alot of the witch trials were more acts of neighbor falsely accusing neighbor. John doe didn't like mary Jane, so he accused her of the craft...
They are afraid that the truth will be revealed of their storybook and their religion, which encompasses RITUALS STOLEN form Pagan rites and beliefs...

i somehow missed the link between christians and their connection to israel in the context of your question. anyway, usually people condemn practices, including magic(k), that they can't or won't try to understand and thus fear. as i recall jesus was quite a magician himself, was he not? healing the blind man, etc. also, perhaps, if people would "take back their power" through exercising their birthright of working with unseen forces to help themselves and others, this might lessen the hold of the church upon them. definitely not a pleasant thought for those who "own" the church and thus reap the profits in terms of power and money.

That is a really good question. I mean, how do they know that that "magic" isn't influenced by God? I thought God was the only one who could do supernatural things like that. He can do stuff that normal humans can't do, so it's pretty much "magic"...

Satan was thrown down from heaven, a previous angel. The bible clearly says he can disguise himself as a angel of light. Remember he even tried to temp Jesus. God is nice enough to let him live just little longer.

ouuuuhhh...are you a Wiccan? No evil there, right? White magic. Yeah, right. Why don't you tell us all about the Mother thing, and what goes on around it? Your time is short. And you have your reward.
