I am a Christian and the answers to me sounds like i'm the only Christian on this site

trust me your not the only one. i am one to and i am sur there are countless amount on here but unfortuntly not many of them are bold enough in their faith to actually put themselves out on a limb for fear of being made a fool. being a christian means following christ not following this world. in fact the bible says it though i am not sure where. any way if you want you can check out my questions which i think you might be happy with.

What is a Christian?
A person who believes in Jesus.
He says in himself, Jesus is his Lord and Jesus is his savior.
He came to the conclusion the he was a sinner and he needed a savior. That savior being Jesus.
There is no good works program that will get you saved.
He got the Grace and faith--it was given to him. eph. 2:8
He believed God, what God said about His Son, Jesus.
He believed that there is only one name given under heaven by which we may be saved. That name being Jesus.
Yes there are so called Christians that will attack you for saying something lousy about Jesus. Perhaps even these are christian. They are just immature. They think by attacking and threatening a person it will cause that person to become a christian. ( I was one of these people 20 years ago ). Attacking and threatening a person will not cause anyone to become a christian. It will drive them further away, it will cause them to hate all Christians.
You are not the only Christian on this site. It will feel like you are the only Christian at times. That is the way it is.
Keep praying and reading your Bible.
Remember that it is the Shepherd's job to keep you, not you yourself.

I believe in god as existence, or reality, or being. Everyone believes in that, but in different ways. What you think god is your way of boxing it up so it makes sense to you. I do not think reality or existence, thus god, can be described, so you could understand why it seems as though people do not believe in it, they do, just not like you do, which is how god is working at the moment.
And even if people didn't believe in god, isn't it god that has done that to them? People are not seperate from god, they are a part of it. So can you really blame people for not believing or not caring? No, you can only blame this god your talking about. You might as well tell god "You messed up," (if you really think there is a problem about).

I am not a christian but I believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the only son of God and died for our sins.
And if you are asking in your head "doesn't that make me a Christian?" = Christianity includes too many other categories and individuals that I just don't believe in. I believe that the bible is God inspired and written by God through the hand of mortals, but its many interpretations leads to many beliefs and thoughts because most don't understand that it is a living word and has different meanings to each situation. This is what makes it such a source of wisdom.
Don't get slammed by those athiestic or agnostic folks on here. They are allowed to have their opinions too. They are louder on here because it stirs "Christians" up. Just be strong in your beliefs and understand that it is a living word so you can be changed by God. Pray to become a window for Christ's light to shine through on Yahoo.

You sound like you are judging others - so where is your grace, love and understanding?
You appear to imply that other people who have different views are non christians - surely for a christian the teachings are that god does not judge and we are called to be like god?
I dont mean to push your buttons but I ask you to consider this in the light that it is sent

Do not think to highly of your self. There are a lot of Good Christians on this thing, some play devils advocate, and some truly are devils advocates.
But I have found several Godly anointed people are here also. "I am a Holy Spirit Anointed Christian"

There are tons of Christians on this thing. Some just write stupid questions so other Christians will answer in agreement with them. Total waste of time.

I too believe in God and that Christ died for our sins on the cross. I have believed since I was a child and was saved when I was 17 yrs old which is 35 yrs ago. God Bless You.
