Heaven is where God is, and hell is where is God is not. Earth is where man is. How do you get to God?

God is sprint, and we worship him in spirit and in truth (I will quote this a little later by cutting and pasting from www.biblegateway.com).

Do you really know what this phrase means? Can you explain it from your bible (whatever version you have)? Do you even know where it is?

Since you like you hard copy bible so well, may I suggest 1 Cor. 10:23-24 with emphasis on 24. Does your question meet that standard?

Let take a simple revelation: God is spirit (alternatively wind). What does that mean?

Now as promise, I will give you that passage: John 4:21Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." NIV

I have roughly 39 other English Bible versions (so next time tell me which one you want me to use). I have a number of Hebrew/Greek interlinear text, I can research (do computer searches) on any part of the Christian bible as well as make use additional resources for the Old Testament.

If you are interest in me, check my profile “about me”; however, if you are interested in God's word, use the tools God gave you. To use God’s word, you must understand it, and believe it or not, answering questions is one technique to do so.

The Bible makes me confused, frustrated and sad...
I can't understand it! I can't "follow" it...
is it an instruction guide to life? is it just an old story?
If it's God's word, why is it so hard to apply it to our lives?

As hard as I've tried, I cannot seem to "hear" him.
And people say God talks to you in funny ways...
well, my life is funny whether I think he's talking to me or not!
Things happen...if that's God talking to me, how would I know?

So, I hope I go to heaven, b/c I've been "saved" a few times...and there are some religions out there that believe "once saved, always saved"...
But honestly, i don't know what's in store for me.
I'd like to believe that i'm going to heaven, but then again, I don't understand why it would be fair that I go, and other good people don't.

My computer can show me the bible, the bible can not show me what we have on the internet, and i'm thinking more about the educational sites like wikipedia and whatnot.

In regard to heaven and hell, they are the same place, and that is this place (existence). This is their synthosis. However, if we had to call it one of those, I wouldn't care which you pick.

I'm not 5 years old.
I don't believe in the concepts of absolute evil and absolute good.

Your question has no meaning for mature adults.

Spend less time with your bible and more trying to make the world a better place. You only get one turn at life. Make it a good one and stop dreaming about sky pixies.

No, thank you. The computer is more interesting, and more useful than your bible. I'm not into best-sellers. I prefer reading more quality literature.

And I won't go to hell or to heaven, because those two don't exist. I'll go to an urn, after I donate all of my organs.

I don't believe in religious books. I don't believe in unknown energy caled god. If this is sin, i will go to hell.

but on the other side, I believe in myself. I believe that every indivisual is part of god. I don't think i have ever thought anything wrong about anyone. I always have wished all good about those I know and those I don't know.

For me, my country, my mother india is my god. am ready to do anything for her. If this is a good thing I will definitely go to heaven.

as i told earlier, i don't belive in bible, koran or any such thing. so obviously i don't believe in heaven or hell. Whatever sin we do, we have to pay for it in this very life. may be in form of chronic diseases, may be in form of loss of love. Death on a very pleasant moment is heaven for me. And i hope, everyone will go to this heaven

The heaven I envision won't promote judgmental behavior - any more than we should condone it here on earth. If we all try our best to practice the behaviors that Christ exemplified, the world will be a much nicer place; empathy, compassion, love, caring, non-judgment - sounds like heaven to me.....

If those good people who never heard of Christ when they die they go hell? What about those people before Christ?

How about those Taoist/Jain/ Buddhist/ Hindu who practice non-violent and never even eat meats are they going to hell?

So heaven belongs to people who murdered/raped and did all sort of immoral deeds and by repent before death, they go heaven?

I rather go hell...
