George W. Bush VETOED the act of CONGRESS to permit more relaxed laws for STEM CELL RESEARCH! I knew he was a faithful and honest MAN OF GOD! Praise JESUS and the God of MOSES for giving our PRESIDENT the POWER and STRENGTH and FORTITUDE of YOUR WILL to strike down this heinous crime against YOUR CHILDREN!

Can the CHRISTIANS join together in PRAISE and PRAYER that the PRESIDENT will have further strength to do what is required of GOD'S PEOPLE!?

I personally think that this country needs to stay away form the world and focus on our own problems.I don't care if Isreal and Lebanon want to kill each other.Schools in Oakland, Dertroit, New York, and DC need to be funded.And the government needs to put up more homeless shelters and places for battered women and children. What is you opinion?

All Christians practice selective obedience of the Scriptures. This involves preaching that the Bible must be obeyed 100% from Genesis to Revelation, but in practice obeying the ‘agreeable’ Scriptures, while disobeying the ‘disagreeable’ Scriptures. Some justify their disobedience of this Scripture by saying, “That was applicable for Paul’s time, not for today.” Christians do not misinterpret Scriptures; they simply selectively obey Scriptures, as all Christians and their churches, without exception, do. Full obedience to the Bible 100% from Genesis to Revelation is an impossibility as it would land us in all kinds of horrendous legal, moral and ethical dilemmas. This is because the Scriptures were written by different men in different times for different purposes. Hence, for every conflicting doctrine and liturgy taught by the diverse Christian schisms, each can extract some support from the Scriptures. The application of Scriptures in any day and age is a convoluted business.

I honestly believe in my faith, don't get me wrong. But, sometimes I wonder if God isn't going to surprise us by letting a lot more people into Heaven then we all think. Just think with me for a moment. He is loving, and merciful, and like all parents He cares for His children. Isn't it possible He is doing to us like I do to my children. There are days when I threaten them with things I would never do. Like strangling them or selling them in a yard sell. I wonder sometimes if we might be surprised who we see in Heaven.
Peace Be With You,

current attempts to put prayer into schools run directly counter to biblical teachings. In one of his comments on the manner in which one should pray, Jesus said prayer should be a private affair devoid of public display: "And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room (or closet-Ed.) and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret...." (Matt. 6:5-6 RSV). Biblicists violate this on a regular basis and have no intention of correcting their behavior.

It's interesting to note that Paul's maxim that men should pray with their heads uncovered is generally followed because removing one's hat isn't particularly inconvenient. It is easy to follow. "Any man who prays or prophecies with his head covered dishonors his head,...."(1 Cor. 11:4 RSV).

"Al Shaddad Bin Aous has quoted this tradition of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.) "God calls for mercy in everything, so be merciful when you kill and when you slaughter, sharpen your blade to relieve its pain".

Many allegations have been made that Islamic slaughter is not humane to animals. However, Professor Schultz and his colleague Dr. Hazim of the Hanover University, Germany, proved through an experiment, using an electroencephalograph (EEG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) that *Islamic slaughter is THE humane method of slaughter* and captive bolt stunning, practiced by the Western method, causes severe pain to the animal."

So hands up...how many divorced and remarried Christians out there? Stats suggest at least 50% of you are...

Second, a true follower of Jesus can neither divorce someone, (a) "So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder"(Matt. 19:6, Mark 10:9), nor marry someone who is divorced, (b) "whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery" (Matt. 5:32, 19:9, Luke 16:18). There is an exception to the former, however. If the spouse commits adultery, divorce is permissible: "Whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery" (Matt. 5:32). The Bible also says that anyone who obtains a divorce and marries another is an adulterer: "...whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her" (Mark 10:11, Luke 16:18), which applies to women as well--Mark 10:12. In essence, according to Christ's teachings:

If you don't KNOW 100% FOR SURE where your ETERNAL SOUL will go when you die, read more.

While our BODIES perish after 70 years on this earth, our SOULS are ETERNAL BEINGS that live long after our MORTAL BODIES have deteriorated to dust. You can CHOOSE where your SOUL will go! That's the GREAT THING about JESUS CHRIST'S PLAN OF SALVATION!

If you DIE TODAY and DON'T KNOW where your SOUL will go, your SOUL will spend ETERNITY - We CAN'T EVEN FATHOM!!!! - in an eternal LAKE OF FIRE and DAMNATION!

You can be SURE right NOW where you will go when you DIE!
1. Understand that JESUS is your SAVIOR and he DIED for your sins
2. Accept JESUS into your heart
3. THAT'S ALL! IT'S THAT EASY!

NOW YOU'LL KNOW you're going to go to HEAVEN!

God Bless!

"Today we can look at a globe and know that the earth is somewhat like a ball, a sphere. The Qur'an makes certain statements that led Muslim scientists to understand long before their European counterparts that the earth is spherical.

When Europe was in the dark ages thinking that the earth was flat, Muslim students were using globes for studying the earth in Islamic universities.

Since it was not the purpose of the Qur'an to teach science, the Qur'an did not need to state explicitly that the earth is spherical in shape (or more precisely, a geoid). But some of what the Qur'an says stimulates you to think of the world as a globe. Take, for example, the following verse: "Have you not seen how God merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night?" (Quran 31:29).

Another verse tells us that God coils the day and night around: "He coils the night upon the day and He coils the day upon the night" (Quran 39:5)."

Should parents have the right to end the life of their child even postpardum? It's proven that the fetus feels pain, has a heart beat, feels emotion in utero. It's devesating when we hear of little kids dying in terrorist attacks, but how is that different when millions of children are tron to shreds at the hand of a dr. every year. 35 percent of those abortions are from girls under the age of 15. Scientifically we see life in the womb, but it's justified so the person who made the mistake doesn't have to face the consequences of their poor choices.

I'm curious if there is scientific evidence to support that life in utero is no life indeed hence making it expendable or is it that people are willing to kill so they don't have to be a mom or dad

The bible never says in the bible to only believe the bible. And Jesus implemented Peter as the first pope, so why don't you believe it? And how can you even dare to quote the bible when the bible was put together by the catholic church under the authority of the pope in 325a.d. at the council of nicea? How can you quote the bible, yet reject the authority that validated it!?????!!

1 (A)Jesus went out from there and came into (B)His hometown; and His disciples followed Him.
2 When the Sabbath came, He began (C)to teach in the synagogue; and the (D)many listeners were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things, and what is this wisdom given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands?
3 "Is not this (E)the carpenter, (F)the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not (G)His sisters here with us?" And they took (H)offense at Him.
4 Jesus said to them, "(I)A prophet is not without honor except in (J)his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household."
5 And He could do no miracle there except that He (K)laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.
6 And He wondered at their unbelief. (L)And He was going around the villages teaching.

If not shouldnt they be?

First, a true follower of Jesus would have to be extremely poor--as poor as the proverbial churchmouse. The Bible makes this quite clear:

* (a) "...none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up everything he has" (Luke 14:33);
* (b) "If you want to be perfect, go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor and you will have riches in heaven" (Matt. 19:21);
* (c) "Sell your possessions and give alms" (Luke 12:33);
* (d) "But give what is in your cups and plates to the poor, and everything will be clean for you" (Luke 11:41);
* (e) "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt,.... But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.... for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matt. 6:19-21);
* (f) "How hardly shall they that have riches enter to the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:23);

jesus himself apparently knew how to read the torah...came from or was god incarnate...but did not know THE name by what we can read from the gospels! always calling on him by ''adonai'' meaning ''lord'' witch is a hebrew word with the same meaning of BAAL in canaan.
Jeremiah 23:25-27; I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, [they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name(YeHWeH(not yahweh), meaning: ''He will be'') by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal
