They are all hypocrites because they all practice selective obedience of the bible since to obey the bible from Genesis to Revelation 100% is an impossibility.

I believe that there are hypocrites in every society. But as for Christians, yes I've met very few who actually live the way the bible teaches. What happened to Love thy neighbor? Or don't discriminate (judge) others? Treat everyone as you yourself want to be treated?? Yet if you are not Christian, you are going to hell, even if you don't believe in it!

I'm Wiccan and as such I'm forever getting criticized and ridiculed for my beliefs, I believe in God and the Goddess. We Do NOT believe in the Christian Satan or the devil or hell, yet we are accused or devil worshiping? Is it not Christians who blame the devil for their sins? Is it not they who claim that 'the devil made me do it' ?

I don't understand why we all can't live in peace. My religion is based upon nature, peace, love and kindness. Not hate, evil, war, demons or whatever else you may think. Why can't we live in peace? Why can't we stop hurting each other and spreading lies and slandering others simply because our beliefs differ.

I can guarantee if you went to a holy temple, church, masque, synagogue, or any other holy worshiping place, you would not find two people with the EXACT same beliefs....

Not all of them. But there are some that live in Hypocrite Land. They're the one's that go around spouting verses at everyone, usually laws from the Old Testament... but when you apply it to them, they give the "Jesus died so I wouldn't have to follow those laws"

yes, they say they believe in one god, but they actually have three that they put into a trinity. Whenever I ask about this I seem to get "It's a mystery" almost all the time. I am not bashing the religion, but I think that that area of their religion should be looked over, or at least explained more.

most are. Especially the ones that are church leaders. They tell people it is good to give their worldly goods away because rich men cannot get to heaven, yet live in huge mansions and have bank accounts that are larger than some small countries and then insist they are going to heaven. They live by the do as I say, not as I do rule.

In my lifetime the people who have treated me the worst because I "dare" to ask questions are christians. I believe this to be so because they cannot really explain why they believe what they believe. How many christians have dismissed you or anyone else because you do not share their christian beliefs? Thou shalt not judge but they say I'm going to hell. Thou shall not worship any deity other than God yet they wear Nike tennis shoes.

some are, some aren't... everyone has a tendency towards being a hypocrite... why pick out one group and slander them... why pick on Christians??? what's up with that...

What's worse being a hypocrite or being prejudiced?

Most of them are.
I had a co-worker who liked to gossip about others and was always trying to blame others for her mistakes.
She never did nothing wrong, the poor thing! (<-- irony!)
She always went to mass and processions and was always confessing.
What for??!
She could be a good christian by behaving good!!

Hope that helped.

I think some 'christians' are hypocrites when their teachings say "judge not" and "love one another," and then they turn around and preach hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against gay people. WWJD?

Not generally, no. But I think people who post questions like this are idiots in case you were wondering that.
