In my opinion, and of course only God can make a person muslim,
I think it is happening because people learn more and more about islam and teachings of islam.
Islam makes a lot of sence if you learn about it.
Also, I think it becomes more and more difficult for media ( tv, radio) to attack islam.
And Allah knows better.
Thank you.

French connection? Ask the folks in Iran, where there former great leader spent his exile. Once again, Islamic countries are getting suckered into a European land grab. If you think current events in the middle east has anything to do with religion, you are doomed to follow the Turks, the Fascists, and the USSR into infamy....

Just an American opinion...about the treachery of a frog...

All intelligent people eventually get frustrated by the obvious weaknesses in their own religion -the organized religion that is! Someone had said on this forum that they are OK with Jesus but can't stand His fan club!
The two examples you gave are black men who believe that before their encestors were brought to US as slave, they were Muslims...if you read "ROOTS', Kunta Kinte was Muslim. So for Blacks Islam is a way to revolt against white supremacy.
Unfortunately Islma is kind of an Intellecutal blackhole. People stop thinking once they become Muslims and stop revolting against shortcomings of their own organized religion. There are plenty of safeguards in Islam against critical analytical thinking. So You do not see many Muslims converting to other religions. You hardly ever encounter Islamic Intellects that challange the precepts of Islam...there are mechanisms in place against it including death warrants.

They don't give up their beliefs really, they just change them slightly. It's mainly because there's so many people born and raised christian, that it usually takes something huge for them to realize their beliefs and finally think for themselves instead of listening to a book. I just survived cancer, and during that time I made my own religion, although I was born and raised christian.

By the way, don't apologize for your English, it's near perfect; and it's better then most Americans' typing on here. Good job! Vive la France

Well, people from all sorts of religion turn to other religions in their quest for truth. Most people see christianity as just another religion, but having a daily personal relationship with Christ - i.e. spending time praying, reading the Holy Bible, and practising His commandments would give someone the wisdom they need in making the right choices in terms of their religion.

I'm not American but here's my answer.
Many turn to Islam because they're fed up with the way things are presented these days by the Catholic Church.
Muslims may be stricter in terms of following every rule their religion says but they're more coherent between what they say and do.

By the way, I'm Catholic.

because they believe that is the right path for them and feel the connection. Islam is a way of living and a belief. Christianity is a belief, and does not really guide you on how to live.

Maybe because of peer pressure?? Or they think it's popular to me a muslim now... or maybe htey just didn't have their beliefs very strong.

And hey msboyd!! I am not a hypocrite and I'm a christian, just because you have the right to dislike christians (that's original) doesn't mean you have the right to insult them. Or would it be ok with you if I said muslims are terrorists?? No?? I didn't think so.

I guess.. because they didn't see Christ as theirs savior? They don't have experience or enjoyment in the Lord. They are not open to the Lord, basicly I don't know why. But according to my experience, I came back to the local church because God answer my prayer eventho I been so rebelious for couple years, and in a very desprate situation I talk to him (praying) and ask Him to lead me where should I go. Chirst is so faitfull. He still answer my prayer eventho I left Him for couple years. Praise the Lord, now I fall in love with this Person Jesus. because I know He love me first, he put me in very desperate situation because He want me back and love Him even more. Praise the Lord!

Muslims are out to get us. They are trying to get us to deny our God, and accept ours, like other religions. Musslims convince Christians who have a weak faith to come to the other side, because it is their job. Much like Christians send out missionaries. But if a christian was to turn mussslim, then that means they have a weak foundation in Christ, and are looking for more out of ife. Life may be good as a muslim on earth, but i dont think that joy will last them very long. Like eternity.
