...Then why do they choose to not believe in only one major scientific theory - evolution? If all of the other theories are valid, then evolution is valid as well since the theory came about in a similar fashion as all other scientific theories, using the established forms of the scientific method.

If evolution isn't valid because of biblical scripture, then what other scientific theories aren't valid because of the bible? Other than the formation of the universe, of course.

Hieroglyph [water] symbol is pronounced /n/ by Egyptologists from I believe the Hadrian cartouch, but everything I see leads to the conclusion that it was an /m/ and only later became /n/ during the Greco Roman period.

1.Coptic Egyptian word for [water] is 'moou' or 'mo', indicating by the acrophonic principle /m/.

2. In Hamito Semitic languages in general 'water' begins with the letter m and Egyptian is such a language. In Ancient Hebrew it is 'mym', 'ma' in Arabic, (see above for Cotpic).

3. The Early semitic letter for M is derived from the Egyptian hieroglyph for [water], as is the Greek and Roman (mistakenly thought to be strictly from Phoenician).

4. Also I have been able to show that three consecutive identical symbols in Egyptian mask a medial U (vav) or Y (yod), so for instance [water] [water] [water] is MMM which is MYM which is the word for "water". Another provable example is the Isis crown which is [horn] [sun] [horn] which is SSS which is SYS as in Isis.

My cousin went to a Church Of the Firstborn where they don't believe in doctors. She had a baby at home with a midwife and the baby dies that same day and my cousin laid there and bled for 3 days and then she died.By the way in the bible Luke the desciple was a physician. So it is biblical.

People are always saying how America (or the world in general) is in such a bad condition. (mentioning problems like Iraq War, energy crisis, etc.) But has America ever actually been in a "good" direction and position before? Was there ever a time when America was care-free and peaceful? Isthe quantity of our problems actually increasing, or are we just experiencing different types of problems than we have been for the past few centuries?

She has been in the hospital for almost 4 weeks,
with severe head trauma after her ex b/f beat
her. Doctors aren't having much success with
reducing brain swelling & fluid build-up. April is
having intense pain and diminished motor skills,
and I am very worried for her : (

She needs all the help she can get,
so please keep her in your prayers
to ask God for her complete recovery.

Thanks in advance for your concern : )
May God Bless each of you !

I don't believe that homosexuality is right, but it seems to me that more people would give you guys less grief if you at least said "Hey! Those transvestites and transgendered folks are a little strange". Am I right or wrong?

"Christianity has been used throughout history as an exuse for some of the most brutal, heartless, and senseless atrocities known to men. The historical examples are not difficult to recall: the Crusades, the Inquisitions; the witch burning; the Holocaust... I did not see much in Christianity that I considered to be worth the having." Whats the difference?

ok, so... I don't believe in God or Buddah or anything like that. However, I do believe that there are greater forces out there, like spirits. I believe that once a loved one passes on, whether human or animal, their spirit is present around us. I believe in the notion that they are looking over us. Not to the point where I would have rituals, lol, but I do believe they're out there. What would, in this case, be my religion?

I asked this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Av4MMEejivQefwqmJzDZu7Hsy6IX?qid=20060716153519AA81zNF
People are laughing at me and saying that im drinking. Im only 14. How come some people are so prejudice? How come some people are so rude? And this one girl insults me on every lin of her "answer" and says that she is a good Christian. How is that possible? Some people need to wake up. You cant be a Christian and mock everyone in site for simply asking a good question or 2 about Jesus. Am I right?

I seen a picture of this written on a sign in the front yard of a house after Sept. 11. What do you think off it? If you agree can it work both ways. If some renegade groups was to go comment some terrible act in the name of Christianity and America would it be fair to say "Kill them all let God sort them out"

I am not condoning any act of violance, I just want to see what people think of this.
