Whats so stupid about this?

People are laughing at me and saying that im drinking. Im only 14. How come some people are so prejudice? How come some people are so rude? And this one girl insults me on every lin of her "answer" and says that she is a good Christian. How is that possible? Some people need to wake up. You cant be a Christian and mock everyone in site for simply asking a good question or 2 about Jesus. Am I right?

Try not to let it bother you, people are very rude and judgemental. Just remember asking questions about anything is good, that is how you learn and understand things and that religion is a touchy subject. As for assuming they aren't Christians, you can't do that, I am an athiest and don't make fun of others. You can however assume it is probably people who are young and immature and trying to cause problems. Just ignore the rude comments and look for the ones that actually answer your question.

Yes, You are 100% right. There are tons of ignorant boobs answering questions in the religion and spitituality section of Yahoo Answers. I think there are more non believers on here than there are believers. Many say they are Christians, but have obviosly never went to church or read the Bible. They basically just think that what is right in their mind, must be right in the Bible. Not So! They are what I call wishful thinking, lazy, non studying, wanna be Christians. If someone insults you because you've asked questions about Jesus Christ, just ignore them. They won't go away though. They just want to give a personal opinion about something they know nothing about. I don't know why some are even on here except to discredit Jesus Christ himself. They know he is real. That's what scares them, so they have to try to make themselves feel better by discrediting our Lord and Saviour.......And by the way, your questions weren't stupid. That's how you learn, by asking questions......There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers......Also when getting answers from here, ALWAYS check them out in the Bible. There are a lot of deceivers out there that sound SSSSOOOOOO believable..........

I didn't see anything wrong with it and I saw some really good answers. I agree that if you say you are a Christian you should really try harder to be nicer and not mock people who are asking rather intelligent questions. You can't let them get you down. Wait till they start emailing you and say some really nasty things.

Yeah; that wasn't such a stupid question and it bugs me when people are so rude on this website. But think of it this way; if people are so insecure that they need to make fun of random strangers on the internet, you don't need to be worrying about them because they have enough problems. But don't assume that this girl isn't a good Christian, because you don't really know much about her. Don't sink to the level of these people by talking about them, too.

Totally agree. The whole point of being a Christian is to spread and educate your religion to whomever wants to know or is willing. you are doing nothing but expressing your curiosity about the religious figure. I would say that girl is the farthest from a "Good Christian." Love thy neighbor indeed.

Well you should have qualified your question with your age.We get a lot of strange people on here.
The old testament is the book of the Hebrews(Jews).
God made his covenant with them.
Christ was born in a Jewish family that would make him a Jew.

well, i'm a christian and i would never make fun or torment anybody, some christians say they are christians when there really not, they just dont want to go to hell, I'm 13, and i've been a christian all my life, i've seen christians, who are full of crap, not all christians are like that, ask a person u can trust.
