I am not by any means racist. I was looking up evolution when that link appeared and i simply read it and made the inference... maybe this is why racism exists today. So no. I am not racist.

It's why this person is racist. Personally, I would have read more if they explored some other reasons why whole races have similarities within themselves...like social issues, political issues, economic issues, and genetic pools other than skin color. Or at least answered the other side of the issue. They might have sounded a bit smarter. But apparently, even in a vacuum, these "truths" still hold for them. Shame.

'Racism" has different connotation that mere taxonomic classification of humans. The connotations of 'recism' are different and sinister. A stretching of raxonomic consideration (as done in a book on evolution) had the different races stayed apart from each other with no communication with each other and even contact on account of the vast distances that separated them they could have led to constructs which were mutually incompatible like different species of humans. They would not have been able to cross-breed among trhem. In such a dismal scenario perhaps 'reacism ' would have had a different meaning. However, this had not happened. People of all races have met and mingled together as if they were children of the same Father.The coming together had not always been bereft of conflict. Brothers also fight but they have an implicit understanding that they have a common ancestor. Unfortunately this has not happened in the mutual contact of races. Various factors have had the result of indifferent progress of the races. This difference in progress have worked more onthe mind of some races rather than the commonalty of their being Homo sapiens from the same stock.Some so called forward races have tone to the extent of making slaves of the backward ones. More and mor emphasis is laid on the differences. The present concept of 'Racism" arises from this and to mere taxoonomic differences. In any case the meeting and mingling of races have also led to cross-breeding whee the progecy does not fit in any of the racial categories. Some ******* Americans are so While and can easily pass of as White men. The chief of a American Black Association was such a fellow.However the inheent construct pf racial differences count for more and describes the social norms. There are some attempts such as Affirmative Action which are only dressing of the underlying ideas into a palatable language. What is unforntuate is this implicit concept of racism. The taxonomic consideration has nowhere proved that this makes any differences and robs some prople from normal human qualities. EVen Blacks/Yellows can make competent scientists etc.Thus the mere taxonomic differences is not the sold reason of racism inthe world. It is the not so consealed pride of being Whites.
