Where in the Bible does it say you must be educated at a seminary in order to teach or preach? Isn't it really the Spirit of God doing the teaching or preaching out of a willing vessel?

I love Wal-Mart and refuse to shop anywhere else. But at times I feel they are such a giant that people will worship them and then Christ will defeat the Walton kids and restore the balance of mom&pop chains.

I have found so many people get really really
pissed off if you call an unborn child a baby.
I assume its because it assumes the "fetus"
is alive.
On a side note, we cannot prove when humanity
begins. They have not conclusively proved
it at all...so why the heck would you do that if you are
not sure? Even if there is a small possibilty that it is?
I mean would a hunter shoot at a deer if there was
a possibility it was a person?
When i was pregnant i proudly called my unborn
child a baby. Fetus makes it sound like an organ
or a science experiment.
Even though the fetus is not technically
a "part" of the mother. It is its own entity.
I am also amused by people who call it a "parasite" WTF?
An unborn human is not an "infestation".It is a
normal occurence to the act of sexual intercourse.
Its not some disease some one picked up.
Also the heart begins to beat within the first
couple weeks of life. Is that not evidence of life?
before that who knows. But a heart beat is a heart
beat.

In the Old Testament, Amos was a "regular guy" in his time--a shepherd and a wood cutter--but God asked him to "prophesy." What God asked him to do made the political leaders of his time-- namely his king -- very uncomfortable. I am wondering, do you think God still asks people to be prophetic voices? I cannot go to Carolina to get the tribal paperwork as I did not know him or his ancestrary well enough.

In a Filipino culture, spoon and fork are used for formal dining, However, if I'm not mistaken, the Filipinos did not invent the spoon and definitely, hundred of years ago, Filipinos eat by bare hands..

Who introduced this practice of using spoon and fork to Filipinos? They say that its only the Filipinos uses the spoon and fork while eating.

Any race out there who uses spoon and fork too?

My friend informed me that when our girls were playing alone together in her backyard on the tramp with the garden hose, that (and they both tell the same story) they saw a snake. And then the hose started squirming around and spelling out letters. It spelled out "I'll take eight snakes or one of you." When I asked my daughter about it she said that it happened and is very freaked out by the whole experience. (tearful and doesn't want to talk about it)
I know that her friend was screaming that it must have been Satan after it happened. I'm totally distraught by this. I want to believe that it was just two little girls making stuff up...but my gut says otherwise. My daughter is very smart and kindof past the imaginary story phase. Anyway....what do you all think?

minorites (black,indians) keep saying that i enslaved them,killed their families,and exc... i personaly wasnt even there,it was a little before my time,so why should i say sorry for something that i didnt even do and didnt even happen to you? it was f'd up,i truely understand that,but hell,my ancestors were killed by lions,murdered for being Christian,and the english tried to kill those who left. i have never asked for an appology for that,so therefore i wont tell you sorry for what happened to your ancestors.

please tell me what you find offensive about my church. Right now we are working on two projects. We are stripping the lead based paint off of two houses in our neighborhood and repainting them. We are also mowing lawns, doing yardwork for elderly people in our area. We bring in food for local soup kitchens. We have sent flyers around the neighborhood twice a year advertiseing a clothing giveaway. we have a fall festival every year. by the way there is no charge for any of this. when my husband lost his job (he is an atheist) people in my church offered us money. one girl offered to type up a resume for him. when my son had surgery they brought us meals. i could go on and on. but i would like to know what about this offends you.

I really likes this friend of mine very very much, let alone whether he's gay or not coz he can't response anything to me either at this time .. I tried to let him out of my head, but in seems like the more i try the more i think of him.. And one more thing is, I don't find anyone around me that could open up up my heart anymore ..
