Sure do. If you say you don't, does that mean you never say the Hail Mary? Who said she can interced for anyone since she is dead as all those that have gone before us? The dead praise not the Lord. I sure would be if I were in Heaven as she is supposed to be. The dead does not know anything. Read it in Eccl. 9:5-6 Come on, you can con a lot of people but you are not going to con an old con. I was in it and my mother is still Catholic and she prays to saints, to Mary and denies it too. If you don't call it worship, why do you put her before God to intercede for you instead of praying to Jesus? There is only One mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus. So why do you bother with praying to Mary to intercede for you when the only one the bible says has that job is Jesus? Putting anything or anyone before God is worship of that thing or person. Better get to reading your bible to learn the truth.

I'm a former Roman Catholic and while I have serious issues with some of the teachings and wrong-doings, I also don't like to see the religion misunderstood. Catholics, like other Christians, are good people, I just think the church gets in their way of true worship.
The church does not tell Catholics to worship Mary, however I do believe it sets the stage for Mary-worship. The church certainly encourages and instructs members to pray to Mary and other saints to intercede on their behalf to God. Nowhere in the bible does it tell us to pray to Mary or a saint for intercessions. We are to pray to God in Jesus' name. I think people believe that Catholics worship Mary because, in all honesty, it looks like worship. The statues, rosaries, pictures, etc is ridiculous. Speaking of which, images of Jesus are out of order too. Notice that Catholics have crucifixes (Jesus' image on the cross), while other Christians have just the cross. Biblically, it's written that there are to be no images of God.

Praying is part of worshipping.
I use to be a catholic, but my heart was troubled, and I seeked the truth. Check my testimony at bottom.
Here's what GOD, (and I believe God has the authority on Himself, not the catholics) Says about prayer and intercession:
The bible is clear there is NOT OTHER INTERCESSOR (MEDIATOR) than Jesus Christ. Any other prayer is witch-craft, praying the dead. Only Jesus is alive and there:
Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
Rom 8:27 And He searching the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:34 Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
1Tim 2:5-6 For God is one, and there is ONE MEDIATOR OF GOD and of men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Heb 7:25 Therefore He [JESUS] is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them.
Heb 8:6 But now He [JESUS] has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises.
1Jo 2:1 My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

No, I think that Catholics reverence the blessed virgin with such devotion that it borders on worship. But I'm glad that you brought up asking Mary to intercede for you because that is a non-Biblical practice that is an insult to God.
Why do I say that? Well, check out these passages and then ask yourself why you would think that God wanted to hear from one of the departed saints when it comes to our prayers OK?
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And He searching the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Here we are told that the Holy Spirit himself intercedes with God on our behalf according to God's will.
Hebrews 7:22 by so much was Jesus made a surety of a better covenant. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not allowed to continue because of death; 24 but He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them.
Here we are told that Jesus intercedes on our behalf.
So why would you think that God would want a human being to chime in on this divine counsel? Do you think that Mary knows the will of God better than the Spirit of God? Do you think that Mary has more influence with God than Jesus? As it is written:
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

I believe that Catholics worship Mary. I also believe they worship saints. They have their own little statues of saints that protect them when driving or traveling. They have their own little statues that they bury to sell houses. They have prayer cards with Mary on them that they hold when they pray. Actually I believe that the Catholics got their religion from the Ancient Egyptians. The Ancient Egyptians had one God that they called Netjer. They prayed to Netjer but they also prayed to the many Gods of Netjer: Sekhmet, Aset, Set, etc.. Catholics pray to God, Mary, Saint Christopher, etc.. The Ancient Egyptians pray to the Akhu, people that have passed to the West (passed away), and Catholics pray to the dead for protection. How do I know this? I was raised a Catholic and I changed religions back in 2002 to Kemetic Orthodoxy, the religion of Ancient Egypt.

I was Catholic for most of my life, and no, they don't worship Mary. That's a misconception some have about Marian devotion.
Nevertheless, I still disagree with Marian devotion. Pray to God alone, period. No need to buffer it via a mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5 READ IT CLOSELY
There is ONE mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.
Hail Mary's are not the answer. Jesus is the way.
John 14:6
[Jesus said] I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, NO ONE comes to the Father except THROUGH ME.

My question is this: if you have direct contact with God the Father through Jesus Christ, why would you want to go through another medium? I am not sure if the saints pray for us or not, but I know Jesus intercedes on my behalf, for I am washed and covered in His blood, and His Holy Spirit is within me.

I grew up in a Catholic family. I would call it worship. God never tells us that Mary has to (or even will) intercede for us. To me praying to Mary (either directly or for intercession) is like putting your faith in her. Jesus said to pray in His name, He will intercede for you. It was Jesus that took paid a price for you. It is Jesus who said I and the Father are one. There is not even a reason to pray to Mary (or saints), because you have Jesus. It's almost like calling Jesus a liar, by praying to Mary and saints to intercede.
