How to be moral? That's a very open ended question.

Here's my answer:
Do whatever has the best end result. Or, you might say, "all's well that ends well."

This very simple moral model allows for many things that others may consider immoral, such as stem cell research and genetic engineering which will undoubtedly result in the long-term embetterment of humanity.

Follow a standardized moral code. In order to do that, you must first acknowledge a moral lawgiver. This would be God. Then, you must adhere to what He says is good and right. :)

"Moral" refers actually to customs, "mores", from the Latin word ... in order words, it means conforming to the behavioral norms of your own society ... and surprise! Societies differ somewhat in their mores, a cause of much conflict and ill-feeling in the world, especially in a world that's effectively growing smaller and more crowded each day.

Instead of being "moral", I would seek to be good, to be polite, to be caring, to revere what to me is truly sacred: beauty, art, and nature. My gods are said to care for those qualities. To everyone else, "find your own North Star!"

Read your bible or if you don't have one get one. It has everything you need to know in there. Follow Jesus example and you have nothing to worry about.
